As title says. For 8 man pre-made raids restarts should be available only to raid leader.
Why ? Because some random guy dies after boss is <70% health and spams the restart screen in the face of the remaining players which could clear the encounter.
It’s really annoying. Anyone else affected by this ?
I second that, but for ANY group activity, pls.
At least disable the button for dead players. or make the box pop up somewhere else than right in the middle of the screen…
Group leaders really SHOULD be the only ones that can hit that button really at most. I agree that that it gets out of hand by these people.
So a group leader can jail 7 ppl… yey
There is 2 problem with restart,
1st one being the pop up in the middle of screen, we should be able to change the place it pop.
2nd being the fact people vote yes, and in that case, majority win, it’s your problem.
Ledren brings up a good point about the vote for restarts, so it’s fair for the entire group. The pop up location on your screen can get in the way, especially if you’re in the middle of combat. Where would you prefer it to pop up on the screen, so you can still see it but it’s out of the way?
Making the raid leader the only one that can call a restart is a bad solution cause raid leaders can still die
The best solution is that only players who are alive should be able to call a restart
Whatever section of the edge of the screen that matters the least in combat
Same as this f***cking “You died” window when in grey screen, bottom right of the screen.
Right below the button for restarting would seem to make the most sense imo
How about a compromise. The FIRST person to die cannot start any votes.
Make it a tiny yes/no in top left near the restart button area.
You can send me emails and I will approve or deny all restart requests, blindly.
On top of the dungeon ui in the top left corner sounds like a proper place for that.
so more power for the lead ? no thx. just make the window remember where it was moved and repop there.
The best would be to be able to choose where to put it. Bottom right of the screen seems the best choice to me.
Dead players shouldn’t be able to use ‘restart raid’. No need changing it’s window position.
I would prefer the vast amount of all the stuff that pops up in the middle of screen to not.
Such as loot, raid warning windows, vote/kicks, etc.
You know when you are charging an attack with a cast bar and suddenly there is some random loot box over top of it? That’s not good either.
The placement of the button needs to be changed , or the way it shows.
I was only one left alive and while avoiding the mech attack , that thing popped up right in the middle of the screen and caused me to die too , and instead of me finishing the raid , because I could of do it, we ended up starting all over again.
