What is the main you hate? Out of curiosity.
I have both supports in the game now, pushing to 1400 and I love playing them. But I also have dps, and limited materials, so I chose what could make it to Valtan first.
Support play isnāt for everyone and thereās no incentive to play them.

Not sure why you say you dont benefit from expert. Every guide i have seen for bard has it as the 3rd engraving after awakening and your class engraving. I wasnt even thinking about gems. I have never bought a gem and im still poor AF lol. Ive never seen a decent paladin accessory for under 5k. I also have never got one as a reward. Its like the game knows you want swiftness so you never get items with it on that characterā¦ but on my spec characters i never get specā¦ game is rigged! Lol
How many supports do you personally have above 1370?
you can get 4x3 with 9 9 books 6 6 stone and all 3 3(class + other) actually on EUC not 100k for sure xD
A sharpshooter. The sales pitch was fully ranged class where even when boss jumps off screen you can sharpshoot it, but in actuality both the Loyal Companion copium build and the meta LC/DS mixed build play as a mixed bag melee then ranged then melee then ranged then melee then ranged rotation class bc almost all the meter generation is locked to melee abilities and the passive generation / what you can muster from ranged abilities is just insignificant in comparison.
I didnāt sign up to be a stabby bitch who occasionally shoots an arrow, I signed up to be a bowman who might occasionally stab a bitch. But that build is just not a thing.

Yeah, no, not happening now. Just the necklace is more than 10k and has been for at least last month that ive been actively tracking it.
Maybe youāre not NAWest but thats how it is for me. Then again, prices will be going down cos of relics so maybe its possible again

Nope, for example ATKās guide has heavy armor as 3rd, seen others say this too.
Reality is, if you donāt need HA as the squishiest class in the game, then you are already at a point where the fight is simple for you.
Which means it should be simple for your party members which means you shouldnt need to heal as much, unless you are queueing with people who you know are bad which can happen.
Imo HA>expert for 3rd all the way.

U only need 3/3/3 for valtan anyways 
I was a death blade main then i realised the lack of supports in all the content so i created a bard to fill in the gap so far i really enjoy the play style of my bard so I have continued to keep pushing her, only downsides for me are players playing dps classes some of them have no situational awareness and just stand in boss abilities taking unnecessary damage and then you get other players who love to run out of heals and wind of music

Lol yeah, i actually dont like it because it has long animation locks and i dont really like charge abilities either. I have it at 1340. I run LC and what i do is i use moving slash to dash in, hit bladestorm to generate the meter, then evasive fire to disengage out to ranged so i can use my other 5 ranged abilities (snipe, charged shot, sharpshooter, arrow wave, and rapid shot). Then i really dont use the melee abilities any more until i need to regen my meter which is about 3 minutes later. Or i use bladestorm if im slowed because it will help you reposition on a boss like igrexion where you are slowed. The movement during bladestorm isnt affected by the slowed movement. But yeah, i was extremely unhappy with it. I play a pistoleer deadeye as my prime alt. Tons of mibility and fun to play.
Listen, releasing artist totally wonāt help with the support shortage at all, itās just going to be support mains swapping to artist.
Releasing her sooner wonāt make it easier and less costly to main swap supports or from dps to support.

Yeah im 3 3 3 like i said, but im a paladin expert is pretty huge for us. It affects our special, bubble, and godsent law. They are pretty low cooldown too. Also fun side note. Expert affects healing potions. A blue potion gives me like 80% of my hp back.
increase the honing rates for supports.

honestly yeah I feel all of that and tbh I think I will just switch to LC for some affordable relic gear without mega optimal engravings, especially because running DS, if you donāt reposition youāre doing long charge abilities in melee range which are almost guaranteed to fail which means Iām most often using my dodge to reposition and not miss a proper damage window which means when mechanics hit Im up shit creek.
It was such a breath of fresh air when my first alt was an artillerist where a stupid amount of damage comes from a charged ability, flamethrower, but one that allows movement while using it?! On top of that, every other ability delivers on the mark that sharpshooter missed completely where the only time I rush into melee is when I need to apply my stagger debuff for stagger checks and my āignore all the stupid shit for 10sā shield is heaven for when I need to plan my next four position drops for some massive hits.
