Stop listening too much to the casual player base to the point where you punish players who actually care about cosmetics.

Wait for June or July when it is summer season. Usually seasonal updates are the biggest updates for mmorpgs
I have crazy idea: LET PLAYERS CUSTOMIZE SKINS!!!
Just put a new vendor who let change low lvl gear into skins.
There is a lot of nice looking armors in games, just make it possible to reskin them (it works pretty well in WOW).
prices can be compared to the online shop, so AGS would not be losing their gains, and players would be not complaing on borring or disgusting available skins (honestly, IMO, ONLY sorceres “Red Riding Hood” skin got some nice look)…
