I cannot believe that nobody is raising awareness of this… So currently there is no way to have more than 12 characters in the game, although they said in the patch note to increase character cap to 18. I highly suspect this to be a localization bug. It appears that you should be able to purchase 12 character expansion ticket, but in reality there is only 6 available at the moment.
I haven’t been able to make a new Glaivier because I already have 12 characters. Please fix.

I have the exact same issue as you do. Not being able to create a glaivier because of this. There is a lot of people in the same situation. I have made a ticket to AGS but haven’t heard back from them yet.

All these threads about not being able to purchase more character slots should be amalgamated into one. For the record - I reported it to through the live chat ‘support’ method and they said it is a known issue and will be addressed by the Devs. They had no time frame for it. You could also report it through the live chat, the more who do that the higher chance we have of getting it fixed sooner rather than later.
I think they are ignoring this bug because prior to the 4/21 patch, the character slot was limited to 12/12 in the system but there was a typo on the shop that said the limit was 18/18, so people thought this was a bug and mass reported it before. Customer support knew it wasn’t a bug so they ignored all those reports, but now, on the 4/21 patch, they DID increase the slot limit to 18/18 but they are still ignoring the reports because of the communication issue (i.e. customer support or whoever deals with reporting/fixing bugs flagged the character slot issue as a non-bug or due to communication issues, they don’t know the slot limit got increased to 18). I think this is the most likely reason why they aren’t fixing it right away on the hot fix.
