Cannot delete characters (character limit on home screen?)

I have 2 characters i would like to delete (Scrappyfighter and Strikemeharder) which are great names for a striker and scrapper but I don’t like the classes at all. Just not my playstyle.

I keep getting the “Type in their name to delete the character” but the name on the home screen is not the same as the name I should be typing in.

I’ve also tried it both ways but I cannot delete these characters. I can delete a character with a smaller character limit though.

You actually have to go back after the timer and click it again.
