tried run admin on LOSTARK.exe and insta error
also tried run admin on Launch__Game.exe and same error again as if launching through steam library

Tried this as well, easy anti cheat warned me for using a third-party file and didn’t start the game either.
Im on the same boat, also using win7 still because its the supreme os imo ;DD just not since this patch
Same thing, Win7 playing since the start, patch fucked it up today
Funny thing is it says file is missing but it’s right there.

AGS always found a way to screw over it’s players
If there is no fix until like tomorrow i have to setup a virtual machine for win10 not installing this spyware on my real machine, but yeah i have to do vykas and we alrdy have 1 day less because from now on the reset day will be wednesday dayum.

Easy Anti cheat Repair-
Repair or reinstall EAC, instructions are here: Easy Anti-Cheat -
Disable temporarily firewall .

Disable Ipv6
a.From the Start/Windows Menu, select Settings.
b.Select Network and Internet.
c.In the Status section, under Change your network settings, select Change adapter options.
d.When the Network Connections window opens, right-click your network connection.
e.Select Properties.6. Scroll to Internet Protocol version 6.
f.Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) box.
g.Select OK to save your changes for the selected network adapter.
h.Try launching the game again.
4.Repair or install C++ redistributable (game uses 2015-2017 C++ files, found here: The latest supported Visual C++ downloads). It’s important that players either download the x86 or x64 file version, depending on their specific version of Windows.
5.You can also attempt to use the SFC tool built into Windows: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files.

Nothing in here worked.
tried all but SFC because it didn’t make sense to me.

SFC doesn’t work because we are on Windows 7 as stated multiple times…
Yepp, nothing here either.
this like when i complain an internet disconnect, they always ask me to restart modem, restart pc, plug in/out the cable…
why dont you ask your dev to test the fix on his virtual OS, then make public post how to fix them… otherways just ask pple to upgrade OS to 10 as your “minimum”
