I can’t buy anything from the Lost Ark Store. (crystals) When I try to it just sits there and doesn’t load the payment page. I also verified my files and made sure the overlay was enabled. Any suggestions on fixing this as I’d like to purchase the new horse mount.
@heathen I appreciate your help but that doesn’t work. My overlays are on and I don’t have it set to administrator. I can also use my overlay in other games to buy currency such as GTA online for PC. So it’s definitely something with Lost Ark. I was able to buy currency just fine before the recent update.
Simply becaues “I can do xxx in other games” doesnt mean its not the issue, if you’re looking for a solution, that statement wont get you very far.
@Corpius It’s called trouble shooting the issue and doing process of elimination. If it were an overlay issue then the overlay wouldn’t work in all games. This is my point. So it’s something else maybe on the backend in the Lost Ark game. Everything was fine before the most recent update for me and I haven’t made any changes to my pc.

Yes its called trouble shooting, but because something works elsewhere doesnt mean it wont clash in LA… and yes they updated, maybe something got jacked up and doesnt mesh anymore… THATS part of troubleshooting. Start easy, then dig deeper… and eliminating something “because it worked before, or elsewhere” isnt the right mindset to find the problem or solution

I apologize for bringing some common sense to the table. We cant have that.
In all honesty what she did was correct. I work for a company that does a lot of trouble shooting and by your statement you seem like you don’t do much of it yourself and just randomly hit buttons till it works. Sorry but that is my opinion. Sometimes it is better to not reply when you do not have an answer or more to add.
Now to the point of the issue. After the last update there seems to be a lot of bugs added in including the store not working. The information that @Heathen posted sadly does not seem to help with this which is odd. The whole overlay problem is not the issue as it was working before the update and this issue does not happen with any other games. I believe the issue lays within their changes and I hope they soon correct this as it seems to be effecting a lot of other uses as well. On my end the store works but is extremely slow when clicking through it.
What I can tell you for 100% certain, in my troubleshooting of the issue, the overlay worked in 3 other games. I figured it was Lost Ark having issues. It wasn’t until someone mentioned that the Run As Administrator was set on the overlay executable itself (Which I didn’t touch before this) that I noticed it had in fact been changed and that box was ticked.
I am sorry this didn’t resolve your issue, I sincerely hope you find your solution soon.
Thanks for responding. I checked my overlay and the “run as administrator” was not selected. So I hope they have a fix for this for myself and those who are still experiencing the issue.
we shouldn’t have to do ANYTHING on our side to make this stuff work. It’s like we have to beg or dig in order to spend money with them. I was SO frustrated!!! This is why I wanted to help others, I know it’s maddening.
