Hello,
I just recently bought several legendary lone knight engravings off the auction house. I did not buy all of them with the same character as I did not have the gold to do so in one go.
However now that I want to learn them, I can’t seem to find them again. Maybe I’m severly blind yet I did rotate through all of my characters at least three times, looking for them in inventory, storage and roster storage. Sadly without avail.
I still see the mail which confirms the transaction of at least 10 books, and since it says “6/20” in the engravings effect UI I did not learn them all. And I definitely did not destroy them (if that’s even possible, never tried it).
Am I crazy or is there some sort of issue with my inventory?

I’m sorry to read that your Legendary engraving books are missing, as you mentioned that you’ve already looked through your characters’ inventories and storages then it may be necessary to investigate further.
Could you please provide the name and server of your character? Also if possible, could you please provide us with a screenshot of the mail you mentioned that confirms the transaction?

Sure, I bought nine of them with the following character:
Name: Delazeaux
Server: Slen (EUW)
I think I found the issue while taking the screenshot. The mail says something about a purchase failure - what does this mean?
It means that you wanted to buy 8 for example, but the market only got you 7 so you got the extra gold refunded, thats probably why you cant find the books.

Hello again @Delacroix, sorry for the delay.
As @dante_adrian mentioned, a partial purchase failure means that it wasn’t possible to buy the amount you specified of an item because it was sold out, instead you get a partial amount of what you intended to buy for that price.
After further research however, it seems that this mail refers to a purchase of epic Lone Knight engravings, you mentioned before that you bought several legendary engravings, were all this purchases made the same day? Also, if possible, could you please provide us with a screenshot of your Gunlancer’s class engravings?
