So… I bought a few cosmetic items on my Arcanist and decided I wanted to see what they looked like on other characters… only to find out I can’t put them in my own roster storage for 3 days… is there a reason for this? I can’t imagine how botters and gold sellers can benefit from moving them around in their own roster storage. Is this an error or working as intended? Cause I was able to move stuff yesterday.

Added new preventions to deter gold sellers. Paid gold (purchased from the currency exchange) will have a 3-day withholding period. Gold that is under a withholding period will be called ‘withheld funds’. Gold without a withholding period will be called ‘available funds’. Withheld funds will be restricted in the following ways:
Cannot send withheld funds through mail
Cannot deduct from withheld funds when accepting billing mail
Cannot use on 1:1 trades
Cannot use in Auction House
Cannot use in Marketplace

Yeah, I read it again too just to be sure I didn’t miss it. Roster storage is either an error or they forgot to include it.
Just be careful you buy items on the character you want it on… unless you don’t mind waiting 3 days.
This issue existed prior to the most recent patch. I had the same issue with the stern set weeks ago, tried to move the weapon and bottoms into my storage because I was going to use them on something else and it gave me a 3 day waiting period.
You should probably repost under bugs. I assumed it was because I didn’t have 2FA and that stupid spam message under chat kept reeling about it so I added 2FA to steam but just bought more skins and same issue.

Weird… this is my first time encountering this and I looked at the stern outfit on all my characters (meaning I moved it around my roster after purchasing).
Yeah, I’m going to do that now.
I was a little late to buying the stern stuff, wanted to see what the market prices looked like first, maybe you bought it when it first came out?
I don’t really see how this would deter gold sellers either. These items need to be purchased with royal crystals to be sellable. And you can only get royal crystals by swiping. Maybe I’m missing something but if you legitimately paid for something then you should be able to do whatever you want with it after that point.

I don’t even see what possible impact this has on RMT. All they do is push people towards illegal RMT that has no waiting period. Don’t inconvenience your legit players when trying to combat something. That should be common sense and your number one rule. Ban the idiots who RMT of course, but this system is not a good change. I can only see it having been implemented in relation to chargebacks and/or stolen credit cards used in relation to RMT, but you should have automated systems for that. All this does is the same as the captcha, it delays the illegal activities for a tiny while, before it picks right back up again.

Yeah it doesn’t make much sense to me. You paid for it, through them, other than crashing the market by swiping a lot all at once, idk what shady stuff you could really do by using THEIR in game swipe to gold mechanism.
Wait the more I think about this the more upset I get. Why would moving something around your roster impact absolutely anything? Now I have to wait 3 days to move the weapon selection box to a different character because I do not like the options for my main.

yes its stupid i hope they remove this soon i’m tired of having to wait 3 days to either sell something or buy them after release , literally no reason to have that , kr never had this
I’m pretty sure it’s because of chargebacks but it doesn’t even make sense because it isn’t like 3 days prevents a chargeback. Most banks accept chargebacks for anywhere between 60-90 days. Especially since f2p players can’t buy the new skins with blue crystals, this is reaaaallly dumb.
