Cant use matchmaking

Everytime que pops up everyone accepts but timer runs out and i get the message Admission canceled. Some party members are not ready to enter.

Besides that group content is practically not possible. If i que up with my friend to chaos dungeons for example it just errors out saying it cant locate any of us.

Please fix this - it’s not fun playing an MMO solo…

Im on EU servers btw.

I’m sorry for this inconvenience with the “dungeons matchmaking” this experience is definitely not intended.

In this scenario, the best option will be contacting live support since they have the tools to verify your account and create a ticket with your logs if is necessary.

They may ask you for the following information:

Character Name - Server- where in the game it happens.

This unfortunately is not an issue of one person, it is a global issue.
All in the global chat keep mentioning it and here on forum there are already dozens of posts mentioning “matchmaking” issues on different servers.
When there is a spike of people logging into raid/dungeon, it takes far too many attempts to actually have all people admitted to it.

can confirm. this is not a client issue. the whole Find-Party-Tool is lagging, responding very slowly and throws messages that we couldn’t enter the abyssal dungeon (“Unable to get location info”)when we try to enter.

100% not a client issue, Support will not help, everyone in global chat is constantly complaining about this

I really don’t understand how this is not a bigger issue?!

This is how it looks like since around 16:00 today straight for every group related content.
No one in my guild (and apparently the whole server) is able to play any group content AT ALL.
Also… posting a link that directs to the “New World” support site? o_O

This is 100% not a client issue.

there is a german post about this with an official response (post). I think they are aware of the issue, but aren’t able to solve it, because it seems to be caused by the game’s architecture. we are just to much people in one region or something like this.

This isn’t a one player issue. Every night during peak time, the servers get too busy.

We stop being able to match with friends, the store stops working intermittently, people’s aura’s and gems stop showing and working.

Tonight oh Thirain it’s worse, we can’t get into solo instances nevermind group ones. That’s new for me at least.

No friend play and no matchmaking. Solo play just errors out. Can’t access abyssal dungeons, guardian raids or anything really.

This doesn’t need a ticket, the only thing that will make it work is server resets that kick half the people off.

Amazon have said the shop/currency information etc are all on a separate server and all servers with playing accounts, then communicate with this server for access. When too many people are on, and the server isn’t handling that amount of info, this happens each night. It’s just connection overload.

I’m guessing this is why you need a second region for EU, because this many servers trying to talk to one with all the shop/raid etc info is too much. That’s why you’ve maxed out EU servers and can’t add more, as it won’t help at this point. It might let more people on, but it won’t let them access the content.

Anyway point being this is widespread. Ticket replies don’t really cut it. :frowning:

On a side note, just telling people the full information about this would probably calm them down on twitter a bit. Also letting them know the servers are getting restarted for this about 30 mins in advance would be good.

I personally didn’t see the in game pop up the other night, not sure if that’s a lag issue also. But people lose their content access if there’s no warning. Other games seem to show a countdown for these things, to make sure people are aware.

Other games also don’t seem to have this issue, like wow etc with the shop etc. But I’m guessing that’s built into the core game and you don’t know how to add multiple access routes for the content/shop that can be shared across one region. Just making it really clear to players would probably help people understand a lot.

That being said, you knew the US would need two regions. Not sure why it wasn’t obvious Europe have a similar player base. But people love the Lost ark developer and people like the FF developer for being so up front when they mess up. Amazon doesn’t seem to want to make anything clear or share any info and we just get ‘submit an individual ticket’ as if that will help that one player or change anything. Or ‘we have no info to update you’ then the servers just go back up.
