I am trying to sell items in the AH, but I keep getting “Too many adventures are using the service. Please try again later”. I get this 10-20 times in a row, and have seen when it worked 1 time, it did not list items that were actually in the AH (just returned empty), so I try to see 2 results in a row to be sure. I have been unable to do that for 4-5 days now, and my storage is full and bag half full (on 5 characters), so I can’t do chaos dungeons or my inventory will overfill. Is there anything being actiely done to resolve this issue? It keeps coming back worse and worse each time.
I am sorry to hear you are having issues accessing the Auction House. This error will come up whenever there is a very high volume of users in it and is normal behavior.
Here are some things you can try to improve your connection:
1- Please verify the integrity of game with the Steam integrity check

2- Close other applications that may be taking up your bandwidth.
3- Switch to a wired connection.
4- Restart your router and modem.
5- Troubleshoot your firewall.
-Press Windows + R, type “firewall.cpl” into the Run window, and then press Enter.
-Click Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall and then click Change settings.
-Look for the game in the list of allowed apps and features. If it’s present, make sure it’s checked, and that both the Private and Public columns have a check mark. If the app is missing from the list, you need to add it.
*Click Allow another app…, locate and select the app, then click Add.
*Once you’ve done that, you need to ensure that the app is checked, and that it has check marks under both the Private and Public columns.
6- Test your connection for packet loss or buffering. To test, go here and click the big Start Test button to start the test. Once the test is complete, the results are displayed.
7- Verify you are not using VPN or proxy services. (Note the use of VPN is not permitted when connecting to our servers).

It’s from all the bots posting in mass, clicking on the next option down or above what you’re trying to view a few times will get it to show. There is no way for them to solve this as you see the 40 bots at once following each other, imagine them doing that 40x100 posting items for sale on each server. Of course, there will be an overload.
I can think of a couple easy solutions that could help alot.
- Use a priority queue, order the queue based on age of the account.
- After x requests in y mins (say 50 in 5), throttle that account.
