Do you want slow content release like KR? Make up your mind…
On one side it’s people crying “WAAAH WAAAH WE’RE SO BEHIND KOREA WTFFF”
On other side it’s people crying “WAAAH WAAAH WE’RE GETTING CONTENT TOO FAST”
We’re trying to catch up to korea… of course content is going to release faster than usual… Once we’re caught up then we’ll get 3-4months inbetween content like they do. But if y’all keep crying about delaying content further and further, it’ll be 2025 before we get Brelshaza raid lmfao
Also, i do have an idea of casuals. Casual and F2P arent the same term, stop mixing them together.
I have a friend who’s casual. He hardly plays 2hours every 2-3 days. He’s still early T2. That’s on him. Amazon should not catter release around people that hardly play the game.
I have friends that are F2P and 1370+. I personally have bought founder pack, but never spent a single of the royal crystal we got. I have no alts, never bought mats from Market, and I’m 1387. Amount of time you play is irrelevant since you can only do ~1h of daily for actual honing mats, everything else is irrelevant to honing.
If someone is so casual that they are still in T1/T2 2months into the game, that’s their fault… Amazon should not catter to them and fuck over everyone that actually plays the game.
No ones crying but content release to fast if were actually hae korea and the honing buff that we shouldve had but cause of feedback they removed that big lie but yes
With all mat income everything of that was released before argos we wouldve had it easier but they repeat same mistaked and worse stop going into amazons ass
Another Korean here and you gotta stop trying to compare Korea with NA/EU version. Its going to have to be handled differently because of large factors like cultural expectancies, lesser skill and time dedication in the west to gaming compared to asian countries, and the fact there’s the idea of “catching up” our versions so they’re on the same time-table which KR never had to go through because we were the original.
KR Casual is what the Western world considers practically a hardcore; maybe a light hardcore, but our gaming cultures are not equal and there’s a reason we’ve held such dominance in e-sports over the West for all of history so far.
im sitting on a 1385 Main
1325 alt
1080 alt
860 alt (to lazy to push)
550 alt (tried sharpshooter but its not my cup of tea
empty slot (reserved for the Lance because she might become my main in the long run)
farming matts. putting them in my storage. relaxing chilling arround
So why are you complaining about Valtan in May then? You want to wait another 3 months before doing new content?
Stop trying to pretend you’re fighting for the casuals. The real casuals dont play enough to worry about an end-game raid that they wont even have the time to do. And if they do worry about these things, then they need to play something else.
It’s crazy that someone who is not a casual gives feedback from a perspective of another group of players… It’s like a man going to a feminist group to give feedback “well, i know a few woman and I think they’d want X and Y” like no…
You can start trying to make up stuff I never said all you want but it only weakens your argument.
They didn’t do this release quite right but its nowhere near as off as people are implying. There’s also a trend I’ve noticed of non-koreans just trying to spout off like they know something about KR version acting like Korea caters to the ultra-casuals; we do in some ways, but don’t in others.
Normals, yes, but we already have a ton of systems and content that they don’t and it was all done on a much different timetable than what NA/EU is dealing with. All the harder stuff is still unaccessible to 75-80% of the playerbase which is right around where we are now with NA/EU since “Normal” is in the slot of where “Hard/Hell” will eventually be.
People are impatient as is typical and they aren’t realizing it took just how long it took for KR version to properly reach its current balance with its playerbase.
Now, realize that NA/EU has to be very different because the playerbase is culturally different not just from Korea but from each other as well, comes from different timezones, and economic backgrounds. People are acting like something that’s not even quite 2 months old is supposed to have all of that perfectly down without any sort of trial-and-error phase that lasts a few months to allow for sufficient data collection.
The majority of people have no idea what a proper standard for a “good and proper player” when it comes to mmos or even what a skill distribution curve looks like much less how it impacts gameplay. Its clear from most posts on these forums that casuals have it in their minds that playing 2 hours a day should yield hell mode access on day 1 for every tier and that’s not even remotely true even in Korea where the game has such a reputation for being more balanced in that regard. If they want to reference our numbers, the top tier available at any given time is being praised greatly and widely for being accessible to about 20-25% of playerbase which conversely means 75-80% can’t even access it. The difference is Koreans are stressing about that lack of access way less than Westerners are.
This game is for everyone to be sble to do certain content without paywall ofc korea more skill more time investment but still f2p can do all content day 1
We cant shouldnt u care about the 99 % more than the 1% p2w trihard no life andys like me etc?
U guys clearly have no clue why people were hyped for lost ark in the first place
Good dev game cares about your time shouldnt our version be even better than not other way around like we play on asian mode while they play on easy
Here it’s “waaah give me give me give me no effort” Everyone likes to be spoonfed everything. It’s why WoW went to shit.
The funny part is… some people are crying about “omg i cant do valtan day 1???” and yet, even if they COULD do it day 1, lots of them would A) Not even have the time to do it and B) not even have the skills to do it, so what’s the point?
You guys are just patiently enjoying the content aviable to you. None of the KR streamers i watch for an hour or 2 seems stressed. you’re all having a blast.
today was a big letdown for me. I’ve prepared the entire ID for Argos p2 first time. i was like hell jeah lets wipe a sh*tton of times with 8 people in voice and try to figure it out!
Never said that u said make it harder but than with u saying skill wise time wise etc Korea better
Shouldnt our version be on easy mode than and dont care about the argument it took long for kr u have 4 years of data but reoeat the same mistakes but worse
U cant denie that our version is harder we have nothing kr had mat wise gold wise before gettin honing buffs
jeah im so hyped. just grinding up my alts for now. saving up some currency for the GS push when its needed. Gonna hit 1400 on my main next ID and focus on pampering my alts to 1340 for income
I’ll give you a quick and simple sumary why progression is slowed down on EU/NA.
Time gating for most of the playerbase to get close to 1400~ish without alowing to much powercreep to the guys that know what they should be doing. because many migrated from other regions. if you cant figure that out. you should go back to school and get a better education. like honestly xD
Yes we have it bad sure. Yes we’re missing content (content that they’re literally releasing in the roadmap this month/next month… so why are we even having this discussion anyway?)
Point is… Valtan is not scheduled for another 1.5month minimum… If you need another 1.5month to get to 1415 with the South vern/Bridge/TRial Guardians… then idk what to say.
If Valtan was releasing this month/now, yes okay i agree it’s crazy… but it’s ONE MONTH AND A HALF!!!. It’s almost as long as the game’s been out already, and they’re going to have more Event with mats inbetween… south vern/bridge… trial guardians… etc etc…
Also, I’m 1387 and I did not “one tap till 1400”. I have 230 fails, which seems to be in line with majority of people around my ilvl. And I’m not worried at ALL about being 1415 in a month and a half.
