You dont get a full set on your first week, you get a set -1 piece. Im in my first week now.
Thats what i said you get your full set in one week plus a abyssal or argos on your second week, implying everything but one piece week one and then your last piece on reset.

Let’s not neglect the fact that a ton of casuals are throwing their Chaos dungeon / Guardian Raids materials straight into the market to make gold.
I won’t deny that gold is a bottleneck for a lot of players (and my main is 1415 with a +20 weapon so I know the drain) but it makes gold a valuable resource which is in my opinion a great change. Before the banwaves gold was worth a wet fart and now it finally gained some value.
Now if people would really and I mean really wanted to attempt to hone a character to 1385+ (honing buff research at that point) then it would be a fair argument, but most just decide to sell their T3 materials (pricing isn’t dropping without a reason) which is fine too but in that case don’t complain about scarcity because with 2 current events running and a swarming wave of books it’s easier than ever to get to 1370.
One last note on Valtan release, even though I could basically run it I also think it should be delayed for a month at least. Let people get Argos done from p1 to p3 before releasing new stuff cause that would drop even more pressure on the players that want to do everything on day 1 but don’t wanna spend a dime.
AGS is apparently monitoring the clearence of said content so they should have a good grip for it.

Just to provide a little context i went from 1355 at the start of the week to 1380 currently. I had a few bound mats saved up and id say my luck was slightly above avarage only hitting pity once.
Using the new mats and books definitely helpped out a lot. (Without them I wouldn’t of hit 1370)
Oh you talking about the Hyper express? i was hoping for it, but some KR said this was actually a Summer event, not sure if it will come with a new class, hopefully it comes together with the story express
Sorry for slow reply, i was sleeping but this is what I’m trying to say, sure they can give the honing buffs and mat buffs as you said, but in the second part of my statement, it’ll still take a couple of weeks till they even get full legendary set and I feel this is being overlooked. Additionally, if AGS teased vultan on a Wednesday then released him the day after, similar to Argos, people at 1365 will have to wait multiple weeks, even with infinite gold/mats just due to them not being able to obtain the gear to start honing.
Damn hold Vultan back for another month? The games already incredibly stale.
You’re right about gold, it’s nice to see it’s not inflated due to bots, and I’m not denying people are selling mats as I’m also doing it, I’m just trying to point out for players who are gunna hit T3 this weekly reset and don’t have an abundance of gold it’ll be fairly difficult to make a chunk of gold and their honing will be bottlenecked by the flat gold cost to even tap - I do agree that honing should cost gold as it’s a way to remove gold from the market but seeing the gold income for t3 players under 1370 excluding mat sales is not enough to get them to Argos for weeks

at the start of the game we all start at the same line as you said but that equality moved in a second (ppl got in earlier than others, ppl sold stuff, ppl got lucky enchanting, ppl paid to get ahead, etc) so even if we started all together that is irrelevant ppl got to content much earlier than others (this is universally true for content in mmo’s) ppl throw tantrums for some reason and i dont quite get it to be completely honest

this is actually not completely true as a f2p i spend 0 euro to this game i can make tons of gold if you just know how to and with mats same when i got to tier 3 it took me 2 weeks to get from 1302 to 1370 from just being smart and know how to flip the market and stuff and make gold that way and just buy every nescessary mats and my luck was super terrible from 14-15 i almost pity every item like out of all my friends i had most failures so i can confirm i had shit rng and still made it xD
Not denying that, but i’m on about players who are about to reach T3, many of them I doubt are sitting there looking to flip or invest in the market. On top of that, you made your gold as many of us did, during the inflation time of the game and bought back during the deflation part, but as soon as Vultan is released, inflation will start again as the weekly income will increase and prices will have stagnated by then.
Yes, there’s all sorts of people. Have to be open minded. Some people even want to finish this game in a month and feel that it’s no good or even p2w if they can’t.
Technically it is fine, but example… “We released the content you’ve all been waying for! But you probably won’t get to that point until a year as f2p. Whales might get there in a month.”
It is irrelevant, just enjoy game at your own pace… but most people like to compare to others and be better than them. I feel that this is human nature, but the extent varies from person to person.
I’d assume they will be a little bit smart about it and induce honing buffs for early T3, t2 and t1 and maybe some power passes to t2. That would be a decent solution(for people who play more characters). Would also be nice to finally get challange abyss for some more materials.
T3 catch up mechanics will come with Abrelshud not Valtan. So not valid.

sure but in mmo’s is really hard to be the best you need to spend a lot of money/time if you want that and only a few can do that. not even whaling will let you be the best, you need money and time.

Some are working on +20 weapon which is Brelshaza requirement yet we’ve still not even had the first legion raid, there seems to be a big disparity between players and this whole Vultan release is going to be really difficult, do you wait for the slower players who could take over a month from now, or do you rush it out for the hardcore players, even then people with high GS may find it too easy.
Then give us increased honing rates and more ways to get materials, simple.
