Have you played the game? From what I can see the skins in the game are not any different except for the starter skin. That thread is fake drama.
I have and they are in RU. GS is different, someone posted their KR starter skin and you can see the difference in sorc from the image shown there as well, so it’s true.
The first example from that page is a promo, its not even the skin.
That actual skin is exactly the same in the game.
Yes the starter armor is different, but its not a skin, its armor.
I call them gear skin or sometimes skin for short, but I guess people have different names for it.
Because I want to dress my character however I want to. That’s the premise of the game for me. I don’t give a fuck about raiding, if something is promised, I’m expecting it (barring the fact that AGS is publishing this game so I wasn’t expecting anything from the start) so I guess what I meant is I would be expecting to be able to play in the way it was promised, not some altered dog shit.
This censorship is the ultimate nonsense! How can they put small shorts under a child like character skirt.

It has been censored since launch. You can’t even type whatever you want some curse word and slurs are *****-d out.
On the other hand there is a very good reason the vast majority of games don’t have children in them. For example GTA or even Postal 2 which is a game banned in multiple countries due to racism and extreme gore even they didn’t dare to add children characters into the game.
It’s pointless to project these kind of narratives into a game. When a journalist or a researcher is not allowed to publish honest opinions or truths or gets removed due to political pressure that’s a different type of censorship than adding some extra length to skirts or panties in a video game. The vast majority of companies are just trying to make money and will try to avoid things that can lead to bad PR they’re not your ideological partners to make the world a better place.

Didn’t Postal 2 have kids in them and you could beat them up? And Postal 1 was even edgier with the ending scene being like burning down a school
No, you could put cats onto your shotgun and use them as a “silencer” on the gun and I’m not even gonna describe what you could do in Postal but kids there’s none of them in the game.
Good point… people don’t realize even in M rated game there is always some form of censorship… people who against it seem like they want a free for all anything goes. But then there more reasonable people that actually type out their reasoning which is understandable

No, that’s certification, the board says what is and isn’t acceptable then they build the game to that code. This situation is content that exists in the game in KR, RU and JP that’s being censored for release in NA/EU

bruh, the censorship in this game is beyond crazy. Today i discovered that “trump” is censored. You know what else is censored? “im alone” “i am alone”… i had to type out “I… am… Alone…” when someone asked to join a party and was wondering if i was playing with anyone.
It’s not uncommon that games use the lazy approach to make sure chats are filtered, by using broad lists of terms that are censored that not only censor the terms themselves but also censor it when any combination of words happened to have the censored word somewhere in it.
Theoretically, this would prevent people from typing the n-word etc with spaces in between it, practically, you have to play a guessing game of what different languages’ swear word your normal sentence happened to have produced somewhere in it, while constantly having to rephrase them in an attempt to get a phrasing that doesn’t contain any.
The chat filter is terrible yeah, they should give us an option to turn it off
Couldn’t care less, Lost ark isn’t exactly a RP simulator, you have to zoom in to see your character so I don’t really get the fuss because at the end of the day you want to look good from top down not super zoomed in.
If I were somebody who was attracted to pixels I’d play BDO, PSO2 FFXIv for example
