Thank you for reminding us all how screwed up the tuning is on T2 final Guardian. Easier to do Valtan if you ask me.
i went and made a group, wrote in title to know mechanics and bring bombs and panacea, got a support in the group, we went in and oneshot it without any deaths
is it a shitty boss? yes
is the tuning fucked? not really, no, it took about as long as an average yoho or deskaluda does

Ahah same, with a dumb number of debuffs, used 4 pots and it died in 5min49s full matchmaking.
I hope we would have Igrexion (I don’t remember we had it) next week. I hate it on 1 of my alts xD
Killed it in 3min with matchmaking. Its super easy
Killed it first try in matchmaking. Is a very easy guardian, the only thing you have to be careful is debuffs stacking.
Obviously, with zero engravings It will be probably hurt. As that is the only thing that is being carried over to that instance with scaling balance.
You dont need pots etc for Yoho or Deskaluda.
I don’t understand why alwyas ppl on this forum are whining its to hard to słów to fast… Get you stuff together Achetes was simple before nerf and after nerf its simple a joke to complain about dificulty of this guardian.

I think you still have engravings and tripods active in equalised content so it will be much easier than it was initially.

Yeah i noticed that today. Was half expecting them to work tbh lol
the BIG problem with the “normalization” scaling is that it messes with endgame balance…
you lose stats, dont reach gameplay-enabling breakpoints anymore, your cooldowns are longer again, no set-boni that also make or break some specs etc.
some classes feel this scaling a lot more than others and its not “fun” for a lot of classes to feel like being back in mid T2.
equalized content is nice but it needs to be done well and it feels half-baked in challange guardians.
i hope hell-modes do this a lot better!
What ilvls were you guys? Or more like, did you have full engravings, decent gems, runes?
My party destroyed its ass (we had one accidental death), like 4 HP potion spent collectively, but on the other hand I was Valtan hardened Paladin supporting their asses (Still no relic accessories for paladins in EUC, wtf).
Helgaia in comparison was a 3 min job. Vertus was another pain in the ass but nowhere as annoying as Achates.

I did 2 Match Making and some people still didn’t know shield breaking mechanics or refused to pot and die to massive AOE.
Then I searched Party Finder and 1 shot Achates fast, but normally Match Making works.
Also some people still run away from the Fire Bird stagger checks, I think the bird needs to shine blue for the newer players to know actually.
I first tried it with a group of low iLvL and roster LvL people by just not dying, doing the mechanic myself and doing all the damage and in turn they took the bosses attention away from me.
It’s really not that difficult
Lmao we get one piece of decent weekly content, which is also incredibly easy, then it gets to one guardian that’s actually a decent fight and people complain.

Yeet the right relic into his shield
Break his wings afterwards
Watch him die
