I’m glade this thread was created. Really brought many of us together to know that we aren’t the only ones who were suddenly banned and went through the horrible appeal system. I come on here in the morning and sometimes at night to read any new posts and everyday we see new additions who face the same issues as us. I agree with Odiumn, by the time they see earnings or seasonal stats, they’ll start to realize this is actually a problem. But it’ll be too late. Oh well, instead of doing 6 vykas, argos and valtans a week at least we get to experience something else lol

Third total guild member banned today. All for “cheating”. What is going on? All with a really, really crappy appeal process.
Three of my deathblade main guildies get randomly banned within 7 days of each other. I don’t know what to do. This is ridiculous.

Not trying to defend them but a couple of my guild mates just got banned for RMT as well for 3+ months and they don’t plan on coming back. They said they didn’t RMT and dropped hundreds into the ark shop.
Unfortunately for the rest of us in the guild we no longer have a full group to run our weekly legions. We managed to pug it this week but the chill vibes just wasn’t there. Not sure what to do either at this point.

If you are ban. it is ok. Take 1 or 2 week break. than think about it again.

I’m sorry this is happening to you. That’s frustrating. All these bans and there are still a ton of bots running around in the game, literally whispering players the moment they log in. I don’t know everyones case but I would argue that most of you probably love/loved this game, to spend as much of your time, effort and resources into it as you have and be as vocal as you have on these forums.
I just think it’s wild to ban players who are likely spending $$$ on the in-game shop, without white gloving every real player impacting situation (plenty of evidence of that in this thread). Instead of banning people, get rid of the bots. You guys have pitchfork posters on this forum saying “get rid of everyone”, they are more harmful to the life of this game than the 5-10+ hour a day, money spending players you’re banning.
The bots follow the same exact movement patterns in the open world (they literally run in a row/stand on top of each other, use waypoints, after 1000 hours of observation), they’re all scripted… their names are randomly generated… It is easy to tell who is a bot and who isn’t. This is Amazon… Develop an ML algo to Cross reference all of this data and generate confidence scores for each account, sprinkle in reports for confirmation checks. I don’t know, there has to be a better solution than this.

The fact that this thread has gotten 0 CM replies after 7+ days, 3k+ views, 100+ comments feels pretty depressing not going to lie. Even a “we have read your concerns” or “we forwarded this thread to higher ups” would honestly boost morals. Right now, I think a lot of us are not feeling too hopeful

Thats because they know their solution to all of this is crap.
Their solution to banning all players no matter if it was fasle or postive is that
- Hey look we’re doing something and it was the easiest solution.
- If you are false ban…create a new account and pour more money into the game for us.
- It makes them look good to other players right now. Like others in this thread that gloats at anyone banned even if it was false.
But what really is going to happen is that they lose actual supporting players. People who bought crystals and help their game.
And bots/RMT will continue to happen. Because if you don’t solve the root cause, farmers will always find a way to get gold into their customers hand. There are a bunch of threads already in support/feedback of bots still there, and people still RMT’ing.
Yet, we’re the unfortunate that get caught up in this shit hole of a solution. They haven’t solved anything with how they are handling this other than lose actual support players.

@Johnydepp , I understand you want all RMTers to be banned and you are gloating at the fact people are getting banned.
Is it hard to believe that some people were falsely banned? People who actually RMT and have money to do it, wouldn’t be on here trying to get their 1000+ hours account that have over $1000 in mari shop purchases back.
They would just make new account and RMT even more. The situation hasn’t changed Johnydepp, people are still RMT’ing and from the looks of it, still successful. Bots are still on the server and things have gotten worse.
All you’re doing is gloating over people who are passionate about the game that have spent time and money officially into the game and that got caught up falsely by this mess that AGS created. And their solution still isnt working, bots are still here, and people still RMT.
So you’re the one still stuck with RMTers, no matter if you gloat over us or not.

I will say this, I’m sure there are RMT’ers who came to the forum and made a post, wouldn’t say “many or few”. But the thing is just my gaming experience and knowledge from many games involving purchases like mobile gacha games, and other mmos.
An RMT’er is not going to waste time on a forum if they get banned especially for as long as some have been on here such as the OP and a few others I’ve seen posting. They will simply chargeback all that “RMT” gold and start over with it seeing as things to buy are much cheaper now so they can do all they did before more efficiently…or simply be done and leave with their money back.
I think a lot of people make way too many assumptions, I doubt a real honest player is just going to sit here and take as much shit that all these players such as Johnnydepp and many others give them if they truly were this villain in game they are made out to be.
But that’s just what I have to say on it. Pretty sad to see so many valid points made yet no CM to actually in depth respond to the actual things said especially with a fully detailed topic. Just simply get the “we are right you are wrong” and that’s it.

Email respond is from bots. they dont even read your cases.
They ban real players 3 months + instead of bots.
Bots make up 70% - 75% of the player base count.

I don’t normally take any side let alone AGS’s, but I have to admit you can tell from the player count that bots are definitely down at the moment. (Obv not to account for the probability of false bans etc due to all those banned acc like you said).
