Chaos Dungeons reduced loot. Proof from KR

I also get ~100 destruction/200 guardian per chaos dungeon from 1340/1400 chaos dungeon.

The real question is… IF this IS a bug, how could they possibly compensate for it?

I’ve been running 7 t3 characters for weeks now at these rates, while others may just be running a few, or more, or none at all.

You only get the exchange chaos materials instead of mats when ur out of aura of resonance. You can farm chaos dungeons for the items if u wanna sell em or use the items. The t3 vendor gives u tradable items but the cost goes up as u buy.

I watched some Korean Videos, and I can’t see any difference in their loot amount compared to the things many people report here as “buggy” or what I get on any of my T3 chars.

Edit: And dont only focus on the red and blue stones. Silver, Tickets, Gear, Gems also count towards the total loot of the chaos dungeon run. I also noticed that I roughly get the same amount of drops regardless of how good the second floor boss drops. Even if he drops nearly nothing, in the end I have the same amount of things in my inventory as in a run where he drops many things.

Yep i has been telling this for days now but sadly i was the only one doing tests at that time so no one believed on my or my proof :c

No screen shots but i’m running 1385 chaos on my 1420 main because it pays more than 1400.

Here is my math demonstration that something is going on, at least with the shards. I am picking shards since they are non transferrable between chars, therefore a lot easier to demonstrate that the rate has been reduced at some point.

Context: I have 6 chars, my ranger is 1355 and is one of the lowest alts I have. Since this is an alt (and not one of my 3 1400 main), I never used the events’ or rewards’ shards nor bought some.

I did a chaos today (I had the same kind of range yesterday) and obtained 2433 shards, including the dismantled gear. My current total of shards is currently 124 651.
Pretending I never failed while honing, my weapon to +14 and my 5 armors to +12 costed me 14 584 and 39 900 shards. So I have accumulated a grand total of 179k shards on this char.

At this rate (pleading that lower chaos dungeon do not yield less shards), it means that it took me 73 days to get my current amount of shards. 73 days back in the past is March 3rd. Believe me, I was not in Punika at that date, even with my main paladin.

My conclusion is that something along the way altered the rate of shards. It might not impact everybody the same since RNG formula for drops is usually very complex. Again, I am not debating about weapon and armor crystals nor other kind of drops.

@OminousOnion I have done this post as I would have for a bug ticket (I have been working in software dev for the last 15+ years). Please contact me to have more information. I know you said that devs took a look at datasets, but I really do think that you need to take a look at specific accounts.

Yeah apparently we are all crazy and this is just an example of mass hysteria. According to the team there isn’t a nerf.

I know there was a nerf. This is so frustrating. I can’t believe they won’t release the results of them checking it.

No is not, I guess its planned and calculated and reasonable.

For example I was playing long time before I ever go to guardian raids - chaos dungeon honning materials balance is good and with some una dailys just ignored that part of the game. Time/rewards wasnt so good to make it worth.

Well, technically the answer was ‘This is not bugged.’ not ‘The drops were not reduced/changed.’

I pay attention to wording like that, because the devil is always in the details.

That will be the answer ofc. Its normal game to be rebalanced all time and no need to be explained to everyone what queries they made over playerbase and what this actually prevents.
This is not random, things like that is rly not random. And if it was a bug automatic tests will catch it and release will not be processed. And I mean on other environments long before go to production (aka the real server-client).

No idea why they do it, like other ppl with Artist … and the people with powerpass (that kinda include me)

IT IS A BUG~!!! And it’s experienced by me and my twitch viewers.
When I killed the bosses it dropped like nothing. And that consistently happened to two of my characters day over day.

If they don’t acknowledge it they won’t fix it.

For the people that says it’s not a bug / it’s RNG ---- if you didn’t experience it, good for you. It did for some of us. We need Amazon to look into it. If you keep saying it’s not a bug, THEY WON’T ACKNOWLEDGE IT OR FIX IT. PLEASE. DO US A FAVOR, stop saying it’s not a bug, because IT IS.

Often on this character I’m only getting XP and silver, sometimes gears. But lack of guardian stones and destruction stones!

How come no GM is acknowledging this issue?
Today I got 5 blue guardian crystals from fighting the boss in second stage chaos dungeon (1895)…
I’m going to post everyday until someone from their dev team acknowledges this.

Did 1415 Chaos Dungeon today, Killed 2nd room boss, glowed red for Relic, got no drops besides Honing Shards and silver.
Absolutely something is weird.
