nothing has changed for me. It still says 0/12.
It’s quite confusing to me that some people are able to create more than 12 characters (some1 here mentioned they have 14 characters in total, wheras I cannot create a single one on that 3rd char page?).
So let me describe my scenario (maybe it helps): I created 6 characters for free, then purchased 6 more on page 2 weeks ago. So I had reached that 12 char cap before the April update. I think I didn’t open the store on any of them, I think I purchased them directly by clicking the free slots on the selection page … just in case that makes a difference somehow.
Same problem here - I bought six additional characters prior to the release of the 3rd character bank and now I can’t buy any more characters to fill the 3rd bank.
Would be nice if they could at least acknowledge this soon, I’d like to level a Glaivier before the next class comes out. I’m only at 10/18 slots used and “6/12” on the pass but I’m still stopped from buying passes through store or char select screen. Contacting support just leads to the same New World support staff that has zero clue about the game and barely speaks English. Then tells you to have a great day in Aeternum
Bump - This really deserves more attention. It may not be server issues or people not being able to get into the game but still…
They directly stated in the patch notes they increased slots from 12 to 18 and released a new class. People have spent money on something that’s not working at all. We can’t increase the slot to make the new class at 0/12 buyable tickets.
At the very least, any info would be nice. @Community-Team does this tag work?
anyone know when they are fixing it, i have talked to both steam support and amazon they just keep saying it’s known and watch the forums, forums no official response.
Not sure what happened in the past few hours, I just clicked buy from the character select screen and it actually went through, my store is now at 4/12, which is the correct amount (was at 6/12 and wouldn’t allow purchase prior to this with 10 unlocked slot). Maybe a hotfix they did without saying anything? Unsure of how this will affect people at 12/12 purchased in store.
