chat randomly stop working but usually reload game fix issue, but today it stops and never came back i even restart PC.

Try changing area chat font color. worked for me.
I Am having trouble with the chat ingame⌠i only see a working chat during the first 10-20 mins in game after that it is just standing there with the last written text. i cant send texts either not even after reboot, etc of the game and computer.

Well, I play on Neria and chat settings donât help. When chat just stops nothing but relog helps 
+Party chat before raid/argos stops working too.
Appreciate the reports â we are aware of the issue (and removing posts with the particular bug to not encourage abuse, even though it is already happening). We will have a fix sometime this week.

same for me, every time i go into my stronghold i have to relog to see chat 
People now deliberately crash chats with a certain emote, itâs already out of hand and need a fix asap.

Guys, if someone types â<3â in the chat it bugs out. This is the reason the chat keeps bugging lately.
We are building a list of people who are breaking the chat in Area chat on Moonkeep.
So far 13 of them in the last 6 hours. If you are on a Moonkeep, send me PM and I will send you their names, so you can block them too.

Chat broke 7 times in the last hour. It really needs to be resolved sooner than later.
Confirmed that â<â is breaking chat. Someone on Azena named Schmetterling is deliberately breaking chat for everyone by typing it.
A player named Sperm with an accent over the E is also deliberately breaking chat.
How hard can it be for Amazon Games to see that â<â is breaking chat and hotfix it? This is a serious issue.

People are breaking this on my server every 15 minutes to deny us the ability to talk to each other. Please help. And punish the people doing it.

Is it possible to make chat keep messages when one changes between alts as for now it seem to reset (blank out) all earlier messages each time one changes character. It is annoying as one can not keep track with whome one talked with and during a change of character to only see all new messages that are from when now is on the other character.
Had also the same issue on EU West where suddenly chat stopped working. No new messages from updates and I couldnât even create a message in chat for some time (until I changed player character).
Thank you, and this is good to hear, however the suggested workaround is more disruptive than simply logging to the character screen. I personally have four tabs, and the time it would take to delete and reestablish is greater than simply relogging.

No offense, but if it takes one week to restore basic chat functionality I dread thinking about more complex issuesâŚ
Literally every single maintenance the team is breaking something. Itâs not looking great, it shows that you canât really master the releases whether itâs Smilegate or Amazonâs fault.
Bringing an antiquated, stripped down, buggy release to the West will surely grant further confidence points (but I guess that doesnât matter much as youâre making a lot of money).
Imagine if people couldnât buy their way to 1490⌠that would have gotten fixed really fast I imagine
