Stones with the highest engraving more likely Grudge and KBW (check your server pricing).
The prices are cheap now compare to the old, you can get Grudge combination very cheap. At least on my server. The problem you have is your class engravings +3 pairing with premium engraving. Probably going to cost you.
CAN i not just go mayhem+master tenac +3+3 legend

I’ll chime in with a few things on this:
*Start with a planner: This will help you get an idea of what each piece will have to contain to reach that 5x3
Since you have 2 +12 books, that makes it a bit easier
*Get an idea of what you need for your Class piece: Going back to this point here
Your class engraving piece is going to be expensive just because of whatever you need to put onto it as secondary (especially if relic)
One note I’d like to add is see where your stone takes you before you buy your class piece, it may save you gold
A cheap(er) option is to go Mayhem +3 / MT +3 (especially if you wanna Legendary), however that might cause some of the other pieces to be higher since you’ll be focusing on KBW, Grudge and CD, along with the fact if you join parties people will see the Legendary and judge you accordingly, 5x3 or no (since stats > engravings)
*Cut your stone: Depending on how you wanna build this, your stone is the second key part of it all besides your class piece
Because you have both +12 books you could go with other stones besides a 7/7, but you’d have to go back to the planner and see how it would all work (6/8 would work as well and make it so your class piece only needs a +4 on it)
*Buy the rest of your pieces: Once the first steps are done, then you’re almost there
Remember some engraving combinations are cheaper than others (Grudge and KBW together tend to be expensive) so check AH and see what will work
Plus quality is a thing as well: Make sure you can reach your basic stat thresholds before purchasing all 10 quality pieces (you’ll do less damage in the long run if you can’t meet your minimums, again stats > engravings)
Rings are ok to skimp out on quality, earrings make more of a difference, and neck don’t if you can help it because of the sub-stat
I also made a few examples using an engraving planner to show what you could possibly do
First one is with a 7/7 stone (Grudge and KBW) and if you did Class 3 / MT 3 piece
Second is with a 6/8 stone, with a Class 3 / CD 4 piece
I don’t know how expensive these are right now but you may try different combinations to see which will work

Look on the market, im not going to do it for you.
Generally, you don’t want MT books. MT+RC stone is ok because if you roll a 9-7 it going either way is fine. Also, getting MT+3 or MT+5 on accs will make even kbw/grudge cheap. Raid captain on crit accs is also usually cheap.
In your situation, probably evaluate stone/acc costs. You want some stone, probably 7/6, and then to fill out accs. You could roll some combo of grudge+rc or kbw+rc and hope you don’t get a 9/7 with 7 on grudge/kbw. Good news is you probably will barely get a 7/6 and either way is fine on that one.
After rolling a stone, buy a necklace + mayhem acc. If you rolled a good stone you can get a 3/3 or 4/3 neck and still hit 5x3. It might be cheap to get mayhem on neck it might not be, need to check market, generally mayhem class accs are cheap on ring or earring.
Then you want to plan the other 3-4 accs. One should be swift (could be your mayhem acc). Probably a ring, altho earring at our current gear level isn’t the worst. You want ~700-800 swift from that one acc. The rest should be crit. Figure out the cheapest combinations. It will probably be raid captain combos that are the cheapest for you.
Out of curiosity, why take cursed doll over raid captain? Raid captain gives the same or more damage with no drawback. Berserkers is not supposed to run fully maxed crit stat. You end up dumping extra stats into swiftness anyway.
grudge 5 accessories are cheaper than other +5 engravings
Heres a tip someone gave me in discord. Whatever engraving isnt on your stone you can get like this in accesories.

It works best obv if you have a 7-7 stone. My stone was KBW RC 7-7. So i got mayhem 3 Grudge 4 as a cheap ring, then i got a MT 3 Grudge 3 96 quality neck as my 2nd cheap accesory. Then the rest are 5-3s
Also… when buying accesories its always best to buy your class ACC first, follwed by your neck as these are usually the most expensive. Also you dont want to buy 4 and wait on 1 specific acceosry. Scan the market ysing a spreadsheet and pin 5 accesories that will give you 5x3 using the tips i mentioned and then buy them all at once. That way your arent waiting weeis or months for 1 specific accesory that will cost a fortune on the market when it does pop up. Also, keep an eye on your negative engravings and try to avoid getting any negative. I built 5x3 on my zerker and Arty this way and it was very easy.
Take raid captain. CD is only better in solo content and not by enough to care.
Zerker move speed caps with yearning + one swift acc. That also lets you pretty much attack speed cap & lowers your cds. It’s worth way more than running a 6th crit acc.
With 1300 crit on char sheet your effective crit rate is >75% without any group buffs. Zerker only really uses abilities during the vital point hit window of red dust/chain sword.
On my main I have 1350 crit / 815 swift, on my alt I have 1400 crit / 720 swift, I vastly prefer the 800 swift setup but with bracelets coming I think my alt has the better setup if they get a swift bracelet.
Cheapest way would be getting a 7 7 stone whit that one you can aford a necklace 3/3 and the class engraving 3/4 rest 3/5
