I need like 90k honor shard to start honing my relic weapon, and it only sells like 9k. Even on my t1 alt, I can barely do 1 hone at the 570 range and that’s with the pirate coin shards. Iirc, previous events sold like 5x5 packs, which would be around 25k shards. Probably even more if it were actually 5x10 or 10x5 or 10x3.
i don’t understand. Are you trying to say that because previous events provided more materials than the current events, that you are entitled to the same amount? They’re free materials… it’s not stingy.

events are there to help not give you freebees to hone unlimited
stop honing for a week or so, collect some more mats then go back to it

I mean honestly to be fair if you are used to a certain amount and then that amount is nerfed its kind kf understandBle. Not that i care but lets be honest.
The Naruni Racing and the Casual Guardian event rewards were much more abundant because of the lack of material sources. Of course, it would make sense for the current event to not give as much, considering the amount of material sources in the game by now.

It’s the only event that actually gives great honor leapstones, it’s already better than any other event we had.

I totally feel your pain OP, trying to do Gunslinger alt and I am stuck half a hone a day at 560.
Just be warned she gonna be expensive to kit out before you feel like you doin’ damage.
So I heard. I still haven’t found a DPS class I want to main but I took a liking to ranged mobility classes along the way. I have Sharpshooter that I like already but it’s still somewhat lacking… I wonder how Gunslinger is gonna play at 1340 in Oreha’s Well.
Well its not as ranged as you think. It’s more stance dance where you’ll need to get close to use shotguns.
I love it though, mine is 1445 (and the main for now) but I do tend to like high APM classes. ADHD makes me fall asleep at the wheel otherwise 
I meant the mobility skills, Sharpshooter has only one and Gunslinger has like 3 of them + two parts spacebar. I was wondering whether I should go easy way with Time to Hunt or stick to Peacemaker but, since I already cheesed Glaivier going Control on her, I think I will do Peacemaker. I wonder how much of a gold sink she is going to be

Chicken event is stingy for sure…if the aim is to provide more resources to help player’s progression why transform it into a chore?
Its more of a supply issue. Who’s running T1 Rifts thats T3 ready. Get more supply and the price will go down but because most people are running the highest tier chaos’s, the lower tier ones and its rewards are going to be more expensive.
But there ARE a lot of sources of T1 mats already to gear out multiple alts. Like have you completed Shadespire as theres a good chunk of shards and other mats there. The event is a supplemental source, not to be THE main source.
I cleared the Shadespire floor by floor as soon as the game let me, there is plenty of mats there but not enough. The shards are the most limiting factor for me right now, I bought out the Chaos Exchange Shop, the Pirate Coin shop, nothing left to speed up the process other than gruesome Chaos Dungeon/Guardian Raid daily grind. If only those were Roster bound… but ppl wouldn’t swipe then, would they?
Outside of buying bags for gold, the material “limit” is there as a limiting factor on progression. Sure its old content but same time, T1 and T2 shouldn’t take more then 2-3 weeks to get thru. Its no different then T3. T1 and T2 have a LOT more material gains from all of the multitude of islands around (unless this is like your 6th alt or something) But between the island supply, 2 alts beyond the main are easily given plenty of materials. And any mains at the T1 level should be using the express pass that fast tracks them to T3 and you DONT have a shard issue with that pass.
Both T1 and T2 should be clearable in ~3 weeks each for an alt. Your not ment to go “that” much faster without paying for gold.
