I was thinking about making gunlancer but that spacebar backward dash is stopping me…
funny enough i thought the same when i created my gunlancer as an alt and ended up becoming my 2nd main

chadlancer dont need support, he’s his own support, supports need dps to make raids, dps they could use supports but they dont need it 100%, chadlancer doesnt need either support or dps

Lancer doesnt need support but im sure the rest of the party isnt tanking mechanics with a gigashield 
i mean at one point with trial an error people will understand both mechanics and boss’s patterns pretty easily like they did with valtan, so supports will be worthless once again like they are with valtan right now
Worthless is a strong word. Valtan’s chip damage is a lot less than Vykas will be, so having them shields is never a bad thing. Will they be required? Probably not but I can promise you for the majority of this week and likely the rest of July PF will be “VYKAS 6/8 +2 SUPP” with people sitting not even attempting the fights until Supports join.
It was sad to see this with Valtan, groups wouldn’t even attempt G1 until they had 2 supports.
Taunts don’t work on the big bosses as for tank related.

Supports are never worthless, why do you think people pay so much just to have the luxury of a healer in the party?
Imagine not having a static ready to go for Vykas HM. You think good players deal with spoiled supports? Have fun with your “support unions” wiping on vykas literally all day
Errrrr i can pretty much perma shield now with my paladin with 100% uptime on both buff and debuff…
Fun fact: there were a raid group in korea of 8 gunlancers, they are the supreme gigachad squad
