it’s the player’s mentality and health thats causing these issues.
The content is meant as an end-game challenge for people who have been learning from previous legion raids.
However, not everyone is forgiving for other’s mistakes or difference in technical/mechanical skills as for themselves. look at how some folks are very good at finding mistakes and pinpointing others’ while theyre numb as fvck or very tolerant at their very own piss/shit.
Gatekeeping is everywhere, elites be wana running with elites, fast learners and young fast-reflex + good hardware alike.
It’s like once in a bluemoon to find good & highly technical players willing to stick around with friends who cant be that outright good in a certain content, and is trying to teach as many learners to learn and progress forward while still having fun. While , on the otherside, the minority who wanted to clear it as fast as they can across all their kakul/Brelshaza-ready alts to get the most bang of their buck.
It’s not surprising big guilds turn into few people/static left, because majority of players have been ‘mentally and emotionally’ nurtured for this downfall across released contents.

What is wrong about taking a break? The game doesnt own you or anybody. You are not a slave of this game.
This is a “you” problem. If you flame your “friend” just because he’s not familiar with the raid yet instead of motivating them to try and practice more.
These 2 raids are much difficult than the Clown. Yes, you can clear these 2 under an hour just because you overgeared it and DPS a ton to skip some mechanics.
Take a brea, do it next time and you will eventually clear g3.
Are they your friends in real life or just an online friends? Are you one of the flamers/blamers when your “friend” dying constantly?

g3 is too chaotic for people to get upset, tired, or annoyed
but once you found the rhythm to it its not gonna be as chaotic anymore
just like valtan ghost phase on the early days
so if you get upset or annoyed over g3 while youre progressing, it will only keep you unfocused and make more mistakes than you could imagine
especially when you have that kind of mentality
so what should you do? just take a break when its not conducive anymore, take a mental reset and continue the next day, or even the next week, try to watch some vods of streamers clearing it, on how it really should be done, not just a guide, it will help, that is if you really want to clear so badly.
funny thing is, its the total opposite on my guild, this raid is what unites us, there was like 5-6 valtan vykas statics on my guild and we never really played on the other static if we’re already on 1, and this raid makes ppl do alt runs on clown together cross-statics
i only knew like 3 ppl from the guild 2 months in the guild, and now ive played with around 20 of them, have added at least 10 ppl to my friends list
our alt run with all 4x3 dps cleared for 1.5 hrs every time, its been the 4th week, its been really fun
so what am i trying to say? just git gud? well, basically, yeah, but what im trying to say is
its a fking game dude, the clown raid is meant to be a challenge, a raid, “legion raids”, not some guardian raid, but does it mean your vertical progression will be stuck if you dont do it? 100000000000% NO
so, if youve been progressing but doesnt seem to be able to clear anytime soon, thats ok! youre not in a hurry, its a game, if youre really looking for a group to play with, when lfg-ing, settle with a goal, goal is to progress, doesnt matter if clear or not, the raid will be here for another years

You missed the subject. It’s not just an issue of clearing. The issue is everyone left. Who cares if raid is here for 15 years if nobody here next month… now we mostly play overwatch 2 together. Several of the people who left cleared the raid. It’s just not fun. It’s hard in silly ways because nobody was creative enough to make the difficulty interesting, like vykas was. Souls games are the most toxic environments on earth. None of those games have lasting communities because once the boss is beaten, they leave or go around griefing others. It’s the wrong audience to focus on.

the only reason my guild could unite and even connects more ppl when clown raids happened is because when some groups are progging, ppl who have cleared it or experienced will always come and help them, guide, and give tips, unlike your selfish guild
and anyways, no one is forcing you to do clown, not even the game, and the upcoming raids to come are not gonna be as easy as you wish it will be
if clown is not fun for you then just dont do it, its not that hard
if the challenge isnt meant for you, then just dont do it, dont blame the LEGION RAIDS for being CHALLENGING, come on, grow the f up

ask yourself if anyone would rather do this content or some alternative way to get the ilvl to advance your character? shoehorning everyone through the same content will end up not pleasing everyone and those who don’t like it don’t have any choice to advance in any other way (granted you don’t really have to do clown at all anyway though). Is that smart game design?

Agreed if you don’t like legion raids, LA is not for you. I think it’s more of a game design question, as in is that good for the game? As it is, the player population ever shrinks as each more difficult raid is released. Previous players don’t have that much incentive to return, since there’s kind of an order to it and they didn’t do the previous raids and are behind. Brand new players are way way behind and don’t have too many of their kind to play with.
As mentioned, there’s only one path of progression through more and more difficult raids with no other path of less difficult content. The player pop distills down to skilled players most of whom do not have patience for mistakes. This forces out even more players due to toxicity or just the worry they are going to repeatedly wipe the raid.
That being said, the game appears to be healthy in KR so I guess time will tell if it remains healthy in NA/SA/EU. I really liked LA and still follow this forum in hopes the game takes a new path (long shot I know).

The Korean market has only 2-3 modern MMOS to play. That is the main reason why soo many stick with Lost Ark over there. At the same time the game failed miserably in Japan and is down to 2 servers in Russia where more variety of MMOs are available. Korean player base is also shrinking and new players not filing their spots as can be seen on the values of Engravings books over there.
This is a testament to how much !FUN! Kakul-Saydon is!

Like all raids… overgear it until its easy. Its soo much easier with solid dps. I dont feel like statics should give up after a few weeks. I remember playing Rift some raids would take months to clear for guilds. And nobody ran pugs.
Sorry for you to hear this, Clown Raid done that many lost feeling to play this game. When they put Raid on normal that even overgeared Player with +25 can wipe for 8 Hours then you know is something wrong, normal mode lol.
I think its a skill, personality issue. I don’t think Clown is that hard. Yes, its harder than vykas and valtan. And much less forgiving from other raids we got but this isnt a chill mmo where you can lifeskill 24/7 to be on the same level with talented or hard working players. For example before i pugged the clown i honed to 1490 with +20 gear, got full lvl 7s, 5x3, full lvl5 tripods. And then i cleared my g1 and g2 with random players. Couldnt have time for g3 cause i could play the game for like 7 hours in that week. In 2nd week i found a static and it took us to clear all of the gates 5 hours. On 3rd week it was only 2 hours. And none of them cursing, blaming each other. We were nice to each other because mistakes can be happen, and if we want to clear the raid we should be positive. We failed on so many basic things but kept going and that rewarded us. The more you fail, the more you play, you get used to patterns etc. Like i said, some of your guild members were depending on you guys who were doing excellent job on mechs, playin well. They didnt try their best and that led to not handling the clown mechs. And that led to so many fails. And finally that led to toxicity. Im not blaming them but they should have tried harder, and you guys should have be more nice to each other. Lost Ark’s legion raids gonna keep getting harder from this point on. And every Korean streamer says this “in valtan, vykas, clown raids people are so nice, all laughing but starting from abrel they get sensitive and serious” so your guildmates did the right thing for them.
It’s funny cause my problem is vykas and valtan since it involves more people. I was able to clear clown with friends and it takes me less time to do clown than vykas cause i never learned it as well.
I’ve been trying to find learning parties but at my level people are extremely toxic in this game and just insulted me instead of giving me any tips. The thought of trying to get my vykas and valtans done each week is absolutely miserable. I was able to level alot since i am comfortable doing a lot of dailys and grinding. But trying to finish my relic sets are making me wanna quit with how people are treating me.
I’m a slow learning and not that good at the game, but i’m willing to work hard , learn and keep trying. but so far the player base treats me like absolute garbage and i feel extremely isolated in my situation. i dunno. i have fun playing all the stuff that doesn’t require a team so far. and i would prolly love that stuff too if i started from the beginning with one to learn and play with. but where i’m at now i feel stuck.
This clown destroyed a lot of guild. A lot has stopped this game. The G3 is buggy. They even did not want to do it. And for me it’s only the beginning. I think Brelshaza with the 6 gates will be the end of a lot of guild.
Yup - But this is how P2W games usually do it anyway. Now we will see peer pressure take over and force players to pay more and more to progress. 1000 dollars per month is what Koreans like ATK are paying to keep up.
Its nice to know that WoW get big Expension in next Month and I dont didnt know how many leave Lost Ark to back into best MMO any times and every player can find way for his Story its no matter like you are casual or hardcore players there are content for all so rip Lost Crack and his playerbase go down really quick, it was good time till you get into Wall. So this is sad that every Korean MMO have end after max 6 Months. We need to lear that Koreans MMO are make for Koreans and not for EU or NA Players to keep then for longer time.
