Hey, just wanted to say: PLEASE just change the skin to be able to dye them!
Let the assassins have their cape - as it was advertised and we did NOT get it in the 1st batch of Lawmaker skin chests.
I (and probably many others) specifically redeemed that 2nd Lawmaker skin on my Deathblade because it had the cape.
Maybe just do another good deed and gift every gold+ founder another Lawmaker skin, without a cape, but dyeable, so the ones complaining about it can dye it.
Two pretty good solutions - everyone gets to be happy, donât mess it up. Thank you!
Iâd still advocate the solution being granted a chest containing a choice of one of two chests:
A chest containing a dyeable lawmaker skin of your choice.
A chest containing a variant (cloaked) non-dyeable lawmaker skin of your choice.
My wife was hoping to get the cloaked variant with her first choice, but clearly it wasnât an option - and then wasnât aware it was an option the second time around, so selected a different version.
Fixing them all to be the variant model that is ALSO dyeable would be the ideal solution, of course - not sure how likely that would be as a solution, though.
For me, playing lost ark meant customization , dying your skins and even adding patterns on it which makes every player unique, but I am disappointed in the undyeable founder pack rewards. It feels like I am being punished because of my server choice when I switched from EU Central to EU West , with tens of thousands people waiting in the queue on prime time at EU Central (Kadan) , Or , not having the option to make my own character look unique after reedeming my second platinum pack on EU West. It feels like this is a punishment for trying to log-in and play the game !
i only just found this out today after opening it up on my character. i really wanted to dye it. why on earth would they disable this feauture on the second founders pack?! itâs insane⌠itâs another kick in the teeth for having to transfer to the west because central is so broken. I donât understand why they compensated us with inferior versions of our original items.
They made a mistake when they picked the item ID of the lawmaker chest they gave us. I suspect itâs from an earlier build. They can fix this with a patch, and Iâm dumbfounded as to why this still hasnât been responded to yet. Knowing Roxxâ good track record, theyâre still awaiting a response from Smilegate on what happened here.
They likely picked an old version on purpose since it was untradeable at that time.
They should be able to just replace the file/item with new but then it would be tradeable and all who now used it on assassin (red and black) would loose their cape like that.
Maybe AGS will ask devs to change the correct/newer version to not be tradeableâŚ
But then no cape either.
Remember they are always looking at doing minimal work.
Iâd like to add some people prefer the version without the cape. I think it looks ridiculous on my character and would ruin it. So please donât just blanket change things, especially considered I spent money to dye it already, and adding a cape would ruin that.
This is getting rediculous. Almost a week since the last reply from Roxx. What is the problem here? Just tell us, if it was on purpose, that they are different or not. If it was on purpose, which I almost assume, just tell us. Would be just fitting with all the other things you got wrong with this game.
Hey @Roxx itâs been a while since this issue was acknowledged. Is there any new information on it? Itâs a little disheartening that some of us are currently stuck with inferior versions of our founders pack rewards.
yeah any update on this? its almost been a whole week, really shouldnât take that long to decide and state what youâre doing about it especially given its explicit paid content/false advertising issues
