did you use a macro or something to anti afk? people have been banned for using anti afk macros to not log out the game.

Only things installed on my pc is discord, opera Gx, lost ark ( untill this morning ) steam , and my software drivers and such.
Woudlnt it say cheating for the reason when i launched the game instead of distuptive behavior?
Hmmm. Have to admit I’m puzzled there. Truth be told I’ve never received a ban from steam or AGS so I really wouldn’t know how to tackle it from here. Doesn’t really seem like much a dev response can do for this either. Their response would be pretty blanket at best.

yeah it should say cheating as the reason lol, very weird. Hope a community manager from AGS sees this thread and sheds some light.
They said give proof i should he unbanmed but ehat proof is there to show i wasnt cheating lol, so annoying

This just causes people to permanently stop using chat. Have some tolerance. There are lots of trolls, but unless they are spamming or harassing individuals you risk shutting down people who contribute to the game in other ways. One group I run with just has a policy of NEVER using in game chat. Because of people like you, there is always someone that will find a way to construe statements as offensive, and like you, they feel totally justified.

This is great, this means every botter is appealing, so they can continue to bot on all 100 of their accounts.

oh so you’d rather they ignore appeals as usual just to keep some bots banned? what kind of backwards thinking is that
not to mention that upon close inspection it’s a bit more obvious who does bot and who doesn’t
You’re reading your on view into this. No one said leave wrongful bans in place. The answer would be to get more accurate ban process. But announcing to botters that you can appeal your ban, and possible negotiate with a person who can’t decipher a botter or not spins right back to New World cheating/duping issues. Where people cheated so bad they closed the economy to all legit players for days and weeks, on multiple occasions. Then restored cheating accounts and left all the items with them.
I don’t need to find a solution to all this games problems because its not my job. I’ll just post the information I see. This game is full of botters, and cheaters (in pvp). What, when, how they deal with it is up to them. But this is the 2nd time this company has had major issues with poor solutions. And I say this is a a poor solution because of the time frame on fixing these bots. They are rampent, open cheating at the moment. If you don’t see that as a company fail, we’ll never see eye to eye.
It’s literally this companys job to be in FRONT of these type issues. Not placing mouse traps after the mouse has eaten the cheese.

So I woke up today, logged in, and got hit with this. Already appealed, already spoke to Live Chat (they told me to appeal lol), read a couple of threads on the forums. Decided to add a reply in this chat.

at least this person got a reason,
i got the same message as you this morning,
- Amazon support told me, its issued by steam and i need proof from steam that i did nothing against ToS…
- Steam Messages all told me the ban was issued by the Game developer, contact them…
- now they asked me for all my transaction history, what packs i bought where and when…
sent them all screenshots, no refunds happened, no skins from preorder pack bought in market… lets see and pray

After the 1st reply I continued to get other replies that started to add to the confusion of whether or not I was unlawfully banned.
There have been no replies so far and I’m not sure what to do next lol…
Same for me after an afk yesterday (3/2/2022), due to family emergency, I go a code [10010] when I try to re-enter the game. “Code of Conduct” does it include afk for a family emergency?
I got tagged as vac ban on steam for lost ark with doing nothing violate the “Code of Conduct” except for input the command “/positive” in Chinese keyboard input after I chat with my friend and forget to change it back.
If that counts as a “Code of Conduct” violation, then I can’t say anything, maybe racism？
