We should be discussing what action or method of justification we have regardless of whatever the ban reasoning is here.

Debating gold buyer/seller RMT punishment doesn’t benefit anyone or even apply to everyone in this thread.

  1. Case by case review - how do we know what the accurate ban statement is?
    If things truly are being done case by case then a short email summary shouldn’t be much bother. Can possibly even open up better channels of communication between cases in this situation.
  2. Will we have a chance to figure it out together instead of a one way email?
    If Amazon wants to prevent Appeal ticket flood then each email done case by case should be it’s own ticket (open to discussion of course)
  3. Can we get support to have better transparency as to which team does what?
    Having Live chat tell us they’re on the technical team and having the email responses telling us they’re passing it onto the technical team just puts us all in circle

48 hours and still no proper reply. this is really bad for the game. I requested a ticket ID with my appeal and so far no humane reply as well. I dont think anyone has been unbanned lol

It’s not. Sellers help AGS to increase their revenue. People buy gold then exchange them for crystals, prices go up. Whales invest more money because they can get more gold per $. Whales wont buy from 3rd party sites and will RMT within the game. Non whales might buy from 3rd party and then buy crystals from the exchange.

In other words, RMT is inevitable, but exists in different forms. They just can’t handle the scripts of third party sellers, so to deal with us loyal players, we were wrongly banned. If this problem is not dealt with, the game will die very quickly.

Here is the issue… @Roxx statement paints to broad a brush and needs more specificity as to what she means and also what Amazon is going to do to provide compensation or maintain those that quite frankly don’t care to come back either way…if you read she says SOME not all…that means us that didn’t do anything other than play the game are being punished for the actions of a few…that is not the intended goal wouldn’t you say @TheGiggaChad. Your predilections aside we need more transparency on timetable of review, when we can start seeing notices coming back to individuals, and also clarity on any confusing policy matters.

I can foresee scenarios in which we bought something on the AH intended for RMT unbeknownst to us and now have to somehow prove it was by accident

Friend transferred too much gold above the “massive amount” threshold (which could be 100 gold for all we know) the friend may have purchased from Gold farmers or maybe even earned legitimately through selling T2/T3 mats as instructed by Vets and now have to prove that its not part of some elaborate scheme

I also see scenarios (and this one speaks to myself) where you refunded something that was flagged by Steam as suspicious in their policy and Amazon took that as an excuse (as i have said too many times all i did was refund Elden Ring but past the 2 hour rule) to ban you

I honestly think they just don’t care anymore at this point… just giving the illusion of customer service … their numbers are still high so all they need for shareholders is some numbers from steamcharts

Because that would be assuming that every single person checked so far has been an RMT player.

guess this weekend is a “Lost Ark-free” weekend for us

I’m kinda too addicted. Might just make a new account in the meantime. I’ll be a month behind but, I’m the long run of how long the game can last that’s short. If the account gets unbanned which is should hopefully then I can bail on this new one.
