The players that enjoy the game so much do not have time to read the forums and get affected by the negativity. They also do not have time to open threads that will most likely end up as flame wars. You also need to know that Lost Ark was on life support a while ago almost dying just because the player base went through the same thing that we do and only the Season 2 that came with so many improvements saved this game from disappearance.
The truth is that the game is currently a lot of fun but we were unlucky to get a botched version which will hopefully be fixed so that we can actually enjoy the game for once instead of having to beg on the forums for the normalized version that everyone is playing in any other region.
you’re complaining about the complainers, so by that logic you’re also not helping the situation and also spreading negative energy, censorship will not help anyone.
At that rate the game might die before even having the chance to shine. Sadly, the FF14 player that left temporarily for Lost Ark did love it but now hate it and will go back to FF14 as the ultimate raid patch is coming and their immigration visa to Lost Ark city are getting expired.
I like to read what people complain about because I like to be informed on what people’s opinions are, whether it’s a valuable insight or rage post. I will admit though, it does get tiring to see the same complaints but it hasn’t soured the game for me at all because I just mind my own business at the end of the day.
Most of the forum isn’t feedback. It’s consistent whining and bitching about every little thing. I’ve seen maybe 1 or 2 “constructive” feedback posts in the past week. Don’t be delusional, these forums are pure cancer full of entitled children who get their opinions from Youtube videos and Asmongold.
A lotta people are leaving due to streamers just rage honing as well.
Honing is seen as the end all be all for some reason when its only one type of character progression.
Its like seeing someone try to buy full lvl 10 T3 gems in LA currently, its such a stupid idea as you get several lvl 1 gems every day, prices are dropping in the AH daily, and maxing out your gems is complete and utter overkill for content required.
Honing is a marathon not a sprint, and sadly most of the playerbase thinks that the only thing in lost ark is sprinting for IP.
Imagine wanting to censor feedback, how does someone saying what they think needs to change in the game impact your gameplay and “fun” you have in the game? This forum is not here for you to make friends it’s for people to talk about the game, it’s issues, it’s future.
Most online forums are not representative of whatever game their focus is, people rarely go out of their way to talk about how much they enjoy a game.
But there’s a higher chance that people will go out of their way to complain, that’s just the way it is everywhere and not just in games.

I used to be active on GW2 forums, the game’s almost a decade old and during all of that time the forum’s been filled with doomsayers heralding the end because legendaries didn’t release early enough, fractals took too long, nothing to do for people who played 16 hrs a day, etc.
Even Elden Ring, a game that won most expected game for years in a row, has online forums filled with people whining because it’s too hard, even tho that’s the whole focus of the souls genre.
The games are still around, the planet will keep spinning and the doomsayers will move the goalposts, trying to keep up with’em is pointless.
What do you get out of explaining the years-old honing system to someone who didn’t google it for 5 mins before throwing 500$ and 600 hrs at it? Nothing, another one will pop up tomorrow.
Should you care? Not really.
