I don’t use a VPN or a routing application like Exitlag but after the VPN Block was put in place by Amazon, I’ve been unable to connect while on my home internet.
I did however find that my mobile phone used as a hotspot for my PC allows me to connect. I originally thought that Amazon had blocked specific regions, as I’m a U.S. citizen working abroad in SEA, but find it really weird that only my home internet was affected by this change.
I believe the change Amazon made actually false flagged my local ISP as a VPN provider? I’ve seen others on the forums mention that they too do not use VPN/Routing applications but are unable to connect.
If the change isn’t reverted, I’m hoping AGS can at least look at their configurations to make sure that they didn’t accidently block ISP’s that are not VPN providers.
