I made this post earlier and it got closed just as it finally got to its conclusion, im just adding this here as this post can be closed immediately too but to people who end up having the same issue as me, yes they can and have refunded my slip up.
Also I’m so sorry for how out of propertion the post became, people seemed more angry about the situation than I was, i just wanted to add the fact i actually did get it refunded in the end by the technical team:
I just feel like people should know that they shouldn’t give up if they make such a mistake for hard earned gold, because customer support or other kind of support isn’t aware or thinks it’s not possible, otherwise have a good day/night!
I didn’t get a sense of anyone being unnecessarily angry. You received supporting posts and opinions on your situation. One comment to a CM was perhaps unwarranted. Really pleased you received a positive resolution! A brownie point for the support that resolved this for you.
