I’m not asking casuals to complete all the content at the same time. I work a 50 hour week and I’m not really hardcore, I took 3 days off at start though. I’m still in T3. I’m in T3 like 2 weeks slower than my peers who could hardcore it, but I got there. Why do you think I’m entitled to hitting T3 as fast as them, when I don’t put in the time/effort?
They’re not stuck. I have 1 alt. I do chaos dungeons on him daily, that’s about it. He’s T2 and progressing just fine atm. I’ve just literally done the chaos dungeon every day. Players not having alts is completely their own fault since you get 2 free level 50 characters. It takes like 10 minutes to run 2 chaos dungeons and that’s all you need to do to progress.
No, they won’t learn mechanics in T3. If they had any plan to, they would’ve tried in T1 and T2. There’s absolutely no rush into T3, do you think that hypercasuals are able to sink in enough time to clear Argos or what?
Point 8: Yes, so you’re basically agreeing that T3 will get nerfed, nice, kudos to you for supporting shit like this.
Point 10: KR has a LOOOOOT more content on T3 than we do. Player retention was bigger because the game has more to offer, ours currently doesn’t. Also, their players with the western mindset would’ve left. Look up Wildstar if you want to see how western babies look at hard content.
Unfortunate wording or something else but “drastically” means u will alter but not much. So you still gonna change it even if a bit. That’s how I understand your reply.
What else did you expect? If they give a definite no they will get complaints when they want to make changes later, even if the changes where good. You should never decide on something now when you dont know how its gonna workout. Its all about the intention. For now they say that they want to leave as much the same as possible, so how about we wait and see.
I am not that happy with easier T2 upgrade
And not sure how it is in T3 but i would keep it not ‘easier’
I believe those who whine about rates never played other MMO games where your item gets DESTROYED when upgrade failed, and they just want to get to T3, fail boss, and then quit because its too hard…
I don’t want to listen to these 2 week andys players who not gonna play for months. They gonna whine loud for few weeks and then quit for another game anyway
Considering you didnt reapond to anyone and as its my post ill respond to you. I did not whine about them making t1 and t2 content easier. I said dont touch t3 and that ppl need to learn when they get there so that sats and feedback dont get them to destroy it so fast.
I mean, toxic ppl are everywhere. They will always be around and jerks in groups no matter how easy content gets.
Personally though, i dont run into these issues but at the same time people could join a guild to be able to do runs with people who know their situation or know mechs.
That’s for both toxic vets, and new players
Toxic new players also exist. They ones that feel like they dont need to listen, know it all already and know their class so it’s everyone elses fault even when they mess up.
Thats cool and all but likw i said eventually nerfing doesn’t and shouldnt be a month or 2 into launch. Mmos do nerf but not for a while after the content has already been out.
Learning and googling how to do things has legit always been how mmos operate. Rng breaking hearts have always been there. This stuff isnt new.
If people play casually, THAT’S FINE. please by all means play as little as you want but play the game you try to play. It shouldn’t be forced into changes because it takes you a few good tries before you clear or because someone doesnt want to learn.
When you start something New do you not have to learn what to do? How to be better at it? How to receive a satisfactory outcome?
Games have never been any different.
They nerf considerably OLD content yes even in westeen releases when its already been nerfed in other regions. Because u let people enjoy things them nerf that and release new things. Old to kr is still new to us.
So no, t3 as it stands has no business being nerfed since it just came out. If u want to do the content, learn to do the content.
I get your point, I’m not in T3 yet, but I do enjoy the lvl of challenge in Raids and Abyss, I do fear that lowering that level of challenge might turn the game into something way too accessible. I do like the fact that we need to research mechanics to conquer the game. Regardless I do acknowledge that some mechanics are very unforgiving.
What you sugges then? how can AGS change the mindset of the NA players? is it even possible? or they just have to listen to the hardcore players and let the game die in a month?
I’m glad you asked. Here’s a few suggestions off of the top of my head:
Surface level:
Include the Mokoko buff for new players, like literally every region so far
Create guides about how to fight bosses, how to do mechanics. Share them on your social media. Include them in your “news” section. Put them on loading screens. Create an in-game book of mechanics for every boss like WoW’s Journal for example.
Don’t force players into content they don’t want to do by trying to rush out T3 content that at the moment, barely anyone can even ENTER, let alone clear.
Remove the requirement to clear previous guardians before being able to attempt the next ones.
If it’s really just about reaching T3, just enhance the honing rate/price catchup mechanics to what they are in RU for example, easy.
Deeper level stuff:
Use the leveling 1-50 as a way to introduce players to the mechanics beforehand.
Toughen up the leveling difficulty a tiny bit, so players get into the habit of using potions or combat items. Naturally, give more combat item rewards from quests.
Create various difficulty levels. Easy / Normal / Hard. Give a bit fewer rewards on the Easy tier as it’s meant purely for progression purposes.
Create Guardians (or re-tweak current ones) that simply exist to teach you mechanics. Make them slow, give text popups for every ability. Make it a “training” arena quest when you reach North Vern with plenty of materials, so it’s worth doing, but getting them requires you to beat a few guardians, that properly teach you what a counter is, what a mechanic is and how to think about combat.
Create a region for NA/EU that would literally just translate the KR version of the game to ours. This would be incentive enough for me to move to that server despite losing my T3 character. We’ll even fix the queue issue with this one.
How’s that just for a few ideas? Imagine if I’d actually take more than 10 minutes to think of something.
Bruh the mokoko buff, really? LMAO people are already crying cuz they nerfed the mechanics and your suggest is to give them 40% def and atk buff so they can skip mechanics and brute force their way to t3? yikes.
“Drastically alter” doesn’t imply no changes will be made to Tier 3 content. Why not leave it as it is? The idea is for people to improve and understand mechanics of fights, raids and further end-game content, making it easier doesn’t resolve failure to grasp basic mechanics, and instead makes the game incredibly dull if everything is easily achievable.
Adjusting the difficulty three weeks after release because of “Statistics” isn’t really a solution, considering those that are unable to complete it likely haven’t figured out countering, engravings and general skill-usage of their chosen class. This isn’t a problem with the game difficulty, Korea and Russia manage just fine and should be evident of that.
Let them carry the Mokoko buff until 960 ilvl only then. It’s just a temporary thing, which is the big difference in all of this. And like I said a few times before, this still doesn’t allow you to bypass actual wipe mechanics. I like how you purposefully ignored the other 9 suggestions though, since you’re either not paying attention, intentionally selectively trying to derail the point or straight up trolling, I won’t really waste any further time though.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just checked your post history until February 4th, I’ll stick it under the “troll” category in the best case scenario. Too bad
Bro i can already see ppl crying about “omg this game is super nerfed with this mokoko buff” come on bro, also stop stalking ppl thats kinda creepy ngl
