For any of you that played NA/EU beta and saved their character customization settings, I can confirm that you can use those saved preset settings in the release version.
Simply take the \EFGame\Customizing folder you saved from the beta client and copy it to \steam\steamapps\common\Lost Ark\EFGame
Saved a ton of time.
Not sure if any other release version presets (KR, etc) will work as I only played NA/EU beta. Might be worth a try though.
I want to add that you can also use Kor /Jap or Rus files, you just need to edit those files with notepad and put USA instead of KOR/JAP or RUS.
it worked perfectly for me (i tried 3 RUS and 1 KOR).
I’ve downloaded presets for the beta so it’s been a while, it was a korean site tho, so hard to navigate for non-korean speakers.
One of the most commonly shared is inven.com but can’t find the exact link to the presets.
Most players were sharing screenshots but some of them actually shared files.
Sorry I don’t, I only played the NA/EU beta and used the presets from it. It’s odd that AGS chose to remove/change the faces you indicated, rather than just adding some new ones in addition to the faces from the KR version.
Hey everyone! I know this post is over a month old but seeing how we are getting free character customization tickets with this new patch, I thought it’d still be relevant for me to share what I know about using character presets from Korean servers, since i also went through all the game crashes, texture glitches and etc.
So first thing first, you’d want to edit the .CUS file using “Notepad ++”, NOT the default Notepad in windows. You can just google it and you’ll find a website to download the program. So after you’ve installed Notepad++, you want to right-click the .CUS file you just downloaded and select “Open with…Notepad++”. Now you’ll probably be presented with a whole bunch of symbols and gibberish and that’s fine. Look for the text “KOR” that will be sandwiched in between the code. Simply delete “KOR”, and type in “USA” in its stead. Then save file and you should now have the .CUS file adjusted to belong to the client that you are playing on.
Hope that helps! Even if the reply might be a little too late…
This is a link to a pretty decent catalog of character presets from Korea that actually has download links from the author.
