Could a CM clarify this change please

What exactly does this mean? It’s too vague. There must be at least one CM that reached Tier 3, who understands these changes that are coming. Why is the chance separately increased by 20% and then again by 10%? Does the second node mean 1340 gear gets 10% additional success rate to +15? If not, why doesn’t it say +30% for 1302 instead? Is entire line a typo? Is all tier 3 honing cost reduced by 30%?

i dont understand what is confusing you, its pretty clear.

the cost of tier 3 honing got decreased in gold and in XP (when you boost ur gear fore honinng, shards so to speak) by 30% gold and 50% gear xp respectively
the honing success rate is increased by 10%.

its super self explanatory.

+1

It’s not because for every single other node it specifically written that it applies to only 1302 gear aka starting Punika gear/pre 1370 stuff. For this node it says only T3, and that would mean that cost is reduced by 30% even at ilvl 1520 which can’t possibly be true.

Basicly those 10% are globally over all honing tiers up to +25.
You get 10% additional which basicly means: 10%Base honing chance +10% of the base honing chance. So 20% turns into 22%. 1% Chance turns into 1.1% chance and so on

This is what that line indeed implies but I honestly doubt it’s the truth. They won’t possibly give a 10% boost to 2% success rate out of goodness of their heart lol. On reddit everyone is saying how this is all pre 1370, because description is too vague.

i mean why not if it is multiplicative instead of additive 10% the 2% turning into 2.2% and not 12% but the 50% reduction in Honershard usage is way bigger imo for the high ilvl items.

It’s not, it’s not even in the game. They lied.

This was edited in the patch notes today to remove the second bullet point; apologies for any confusion!

Wait, they removed the introductory phrase mentioning that the changes are from ilvl 1302 to 1370.

Does this mean that the last bullet point applies to 1415+? (no mention of +15max)
