They renamed it to shadowhunter as in shadows > demons.
I still think its dumb but meh. Its not blackface btw. Its not trying to emulate a person from a culture, just someone wrapped in shadows. Its not equivalent.

I’m not saying it’s actually blackface. I’m saying if you’re gonna change your shit because some people may find it offensive, don’t change it to something else other people might find offensive. You couldve just implemented different skin colors for the different forms like everything else but nope she turns black.

And youd think purple, green or orange would be any better to avoid all possible angles? Soot black with a crimson tinge is a decent enough compromise to keep the class edgy without going into some indefensible pr nightmare. Shadows are a common assassin aesthetic and any sensible person should agree to that. I think anybody actually offended by their current choice will have some very niche and generally frowned upon views.
I was crushed, depressed and disappointed as the old aesthetic was exactly what ive been waiting for from all games ive ever played. Never once was i offended by the change
The old aesthetic is anime powerful vampire looking. The current western aesthetic is fell in a soot pile looking.

Unlike a game like wow where a CM could walk down the hall, Lost Ark CM’s probably have to email half a dozen departments just to find someone who would know anything related to a specific element, and anything that is SGR related might have to be translated first, whether that’s on AGS’s side when they send an email, or SGR’s side when they receive one, but it’s entirely possible the person who has the answer might not even speak English.
At any rate, getting answers is probably a bit more of an ordeal than if the developer was also the publisher.
I reject then notion that the previous design would garner any nightmarish response(it would probably get even less of a reaction). People would just ask for other skin colors and others would point out that the customisations for the forms are coming.

Additionally this is above 1 month long issue. That is a lot of time to get 1 simple answer, even if not important one.

So, this is because we have 1 model for transformation and they lazy fix it to not have black skin tone to white but we get blackface instead.
They need to make a system to match skin tone with transformation, or at least a DLC like voice korean to shadowhunter.
I feel bad about this but is on SMG side, so we maybe need Koreans help
@Firemyice Idk if you zoom in like i do to look at my character or if we just have different settings but every time i look its the skin itself thats tinted red, not just an aura.
But w/e we will get answers when we do my thoughts are above on everything else youve said

We all had that enough in this thread. Show patience, wait till roxx comes back with a reply and stop discussing unnecessary things.
A CM has more to do than 1 thread, more to do than just this forum. This might come as a surprise, but they are also human and can’t be everywhere at the same time.

I don’t understand the whole show patience for roxx to reply, there’s another thread since Feb 18 about the same thing and guess what @JWarlock said he’ll be back with a answer and hasn’t replied back since. Sad how @Roxx couldn’t ask Jwarlock any news but i guess not even in the same department there’s no communication between them let alone their player base.
Dunno dude, only thing i have for sure is Roxx and Jwarlock are not the same person (unless you have proof of such statement). It’s perfectly possible that the second one didn’t say anything to the first one one month ago.
If Roxx has answered in this thread i rather believe she really wants to ask about this. And don’t tell me she wrote here due we were complaining, because we have in this forum the biggest thread (sexy skins) full of complains without a single word from her.

In my opinion its better to use dude several time in one sentence than just to be a toxic individual with elevated ego, he just knows everything better and no matter how stupid are his accusations - he would die for them, even after showing enough proofs and after extensive discussion… Speaking of proofs - yall AGS haters show me ingame comparisment with RU/KR and our version where the skins are censored. For example i compared omen skins and they are exactly the same XD
Game has so many problem because of the “Westernization” things. 
You seem to misunderstand, maybe check my earlier posts.
I’m actually one of the bigger sceptical person here, especially towards their racism and censorship.
