I already have the helmet, should I craft the shoulder to complete the 2 set effect in week 2? I’m going for the nightmare set, but maxroll or whatever says I should craft the nightmare weapon then mix it with 2 salvation pieces. Isn’t it better to complete the 2 set effect for nightmare as soon as possible then craft a salvation weapon and whatever later? The only point I see about crafting the nightmare weapon to finish the 2 set effect is if u roll a quality higher than 50 which is better than argos weapon at 90-100 quality, but that’s unlikely since relic is weighted towards 0 quality
From what I understand, and this is just from streams and what tidbits I can find on the interwebs, is that the 2 piece set far outweighs the power creep that the weapon can provide. I plan on going 2 piece as opposed to weapon. I used 11 upgrade stones on my shoulders, only hit 1 at 30% chance, and got a 30 quality shoulder. Getting above 50% on weapon sounds pretty tough.
U can complete the 2 set effect with the weapon in week 3, it’s just 1 week later if u don’t bid on the bones
Then I guess its your preference. If you dont see the 2 piece set being helpful or useful before you can get 2 piece with a weapon then I guess you will be fine. I have a 98 qual Argos weapon, so the likelihood of me getting a relic weapon with more than 49 qual doesn’t seem possible, especially after rolling my shoulder 11 times and only getting 1 success at 35%.
Seems more cost efficient to finish it as soon as possible. I guess whales can go for the weapon becoz they can just buy unlimited chaos stones for 1000 gold each then polish it a bunch lol
