I was playing this Thursday when the game crashed. Not unheard of, so I tried to relaunch after getting to my steam library. I hit play, and steam says it is running. After the easy anti-cheat loads the splash screen or whatever comes up, but never goes away. I have let it sit for hours with no change. I find it in task manager and it says “not responding”. I have tried verifying the game files, reinstalling, messing with fullscreen compatibility and overlays. My drivers are up to date and no other game has shown any changes in performance.
I’m missing my dailys man, one successful honing away from tier 3.

I’m sorry to hear about this situation, I can see you have done quiet a lot of troubleshooting already, let’s try something else as I can see that you mentioned a problem with EAC, please try this:

Repair Easy Anti cheat ( Open Lost Ark Application in your Steam library and go to Settings → Manage → Browse Local Files > Open the AntiCheat Folder > Run the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable file > Repair.

Launch the game

So I ran that application and it pops up a window with a drop down. I didn’t change the drop down, just clicked repair. I launched lost ark when the EAC was finished but it has the same “not repsonding” issue.

This issue seems to be something really specific which we don’t have “troubleshooting steps” and I do believe requesting an escalation with our developers might be the best option.
