A screeching buzz sound with 1-3 second freeze occurs since last patch about once a day, 5 of my guildmates are also affected, we all have completely different computer specs and only are affected during Lost Ark gaming sessions.
same thing happens to me and a couple friends, but besides the buzzing sound, it also freezes my PC for how long it takes to the EAC logo to disappear and change to LA logo
Hello, are there any particular areas where the freeze occurs? Or is it entirely random when and where it occurs.

It happens at startup during EAC init and then randomly in game 5-10minutes after the game is launched. Freeze/stutter for a few sec and audio drivers are killed (explain the screeching BZZZZZ sound like in a BSOD also why discord audio and mic is KO). Drive and CPU usage to 100+%. It is EAC causing this.
Also you can always find, at the same time the system was freezing, a log in the windows event viewer showing a storahci warning saying that the device (system drive for my case) has been reinitialized and a few other errors related to the system freeze and audio shenanigans (the BZZZZZZZZZ sound like in a BSOD)

Ah okay, thanks for the update. Seems to coincide with the discord call audio bug I saw reported earlier. Seems to be a widespread audio issue.

I hadn’t figured this out yet, but can confirm it exactly, I initially thought it was related to Vykas because we had crashes during the Vykas fight and it always happened shortly after re-loggin during the fight. But since it happened today again outside the fight, I monitored it and this reflects what happened accurately.
I am having the same problem. The freezing occur 5-10 minutes after the game started with the BZZZ sound. I could be doing Deskaluda the suddenly it freezes and buzz. It only occurs after launching the game. I have updated drivers and I verify Lost Ark files on steam and it did not solve the problem.
Hello I have been having the same problems, but I did not tie it to possible relation with Vykas. I thought my drivers were just outdated but, everything I have is up to date. Hearing everyones description, it matches what I am experiencing and it just started happening recently.
Recently the same problem started crashing my PC completely. I haven’t waited for longer than a minute, I just restart the PC. Same buzz noise, everything is frozen, can’t alt tab, the entire system is frozen basically.
Same happen to me, and it’s clearly EAC same thing happen if you play game with EAC like Fall Guys or …
happens 3 times in a row now.
on adventure island, guardian raid and now in chaos dungoen. 3 times in 40 min of gameplay is WAY too much.
always messing up my sounds…
if i turn my audiointerface to monitoring i can hear LA again, but there just NO way to change it manually.

not sure if Discord or LA is causing it, but it all started at the day of the last LA update

I have same problem. Chaos/Raid have mini freeze and buzzing/brrrrr sound.
Yeah that’s pretty much exactly what happens to me almost exactly 10 minutes after I launch the game. Quick 1 second freeze that kills my discord.
