Yesterday when the 2nd batch of founder packs started to be sent, i logged on EUW instead of joining the queue fest on my initial EUC server.
Here i found the “Launch Celebration Gift” and the 2nd untradable “Founder’s Pack” present in my product inventory and i took a note on the received timestamp for both these objects but didn’t redeem any.
Today i logged early on EUC after the latest patch, saw that the above items were also present in this product inventory BUT they had a different received timestamp, which lead me to the conclusion that they are other instances of the same objects, just handed out at different times to each region’s product inventory.
Apparently this is not the case, since after redeeming them on EUC a 2nd time for mount/skin diversity, they disappeared from EUW product inventory.
It might be common sense, or it might not, but the fact that the product inventory is cross-region or at least shared in some or all scenarios, isn’t specified anywhere.
It is especially misleading when it is shared but the items themselves have different timestamps depending on the region/server you log into (making you think you are free to redeem them in each region).
Same thing applies for Twitch drops that were already redeemed on EUC (with its fantastic queues) and now even though we are encouraged to start on EUW from scratch, we are completely missing out on those as well.
TLDR: Items in product inventory can only be redeemed once per account, not per region as it should be, especially when being encouraged to start from scratch.
