I just do not understand the currency exchange. So under “Purchase Gold” it says…
Sale price: 112 G
Quantity: 1
Purchase Cost: 238 RC
Est. Result: 112 G
I’m presuming that this will buy 112 G for 238 RC, right? But when I look at the “Royal Crystal Sale Offers: 5 sales with lowest price” under “Sale Price (Gold) - (Gold traded per 1 RC)” it has 82, 81, 80, …
So why would I buy 112 G for 238 RC when the going rate is ~80 G for 1 RC!!!
Further, I can’t actually change my “purchase cost” so I can’t adjust what I’m willing to pay for each gold, so how are people putting in “lower” orders.
Again, solving my own problems. I think the issue is due to a visual bug. The text should read “Gold traded per 100 Royal Crystals”. That, and I think there’s like a hidden “tax” on the transaction that’s not really shown. So I can only change my bid in increments of 238, where 200 is what I’m offering and 38 is the “tax”.
So, to put in a request below the market (which is now bottoming out at 78 G per 100 RC). I would enter 154 (77 * 2), because that’s how much my 200 (plus tax) can buy.
Am I getting it? Is that right? Am I the only one super confused by this?
The tip is: in the end it all comes down to a rate of GOLD per 100 BLUE CRYSTALS. Whether you’re buying gold or blue crystals.
In the case of purchasing blue crystals, the conversion is direct. And the offers table is OK. You can check in this table how many blue crystals are available for sale for X amount of gold.
In the case of buying gold, the game converts your Royal Crystals to blue crystals (at a rate of 238 RC for 100 blue crystals). So the game will never actually touch your blue gems in this process.
The text displayed in the RC offer table is misleading: “Gold traded per 1 Royal Crystal)”.
A better translation would be something like: “Gold traded per 238 Royal Crystals (equivalent to 100 blue crystals).”
