Cutscenes mute SFX and ambience until some following cutscene

  • Noticed peculiarity: When skipping cutscene quickly enough, SFX/ambience will play for a second or so afterwards, but be progressively dimmed. It seems that non-English voice packs don’t contain the functionality to check for cutscene skips and return audio levels to normal? Can be easily tested with the SPACE dash SFX.

  • Using the Korean Voicepack

  • extremely frequent

  • Cutscenes mute all SFX until at least the next cutscene

  • Not sure if not skipping cutscenes fixes this

  • next cutscene will sometimes reenable sounds, even if in same instance.

  • changing channels fixes it, but channels don’t exist in dungeons
