Cutting stones 7/7 or 8/7 Does anyone know if there is a method that has a 50 percent chance of getting it
I only know one method, but it works for me.
Choose the engraving you want as your primary and put the 75% and 65% on it, and 55% on the secondary.
All lower chances, naturally, go to red engraving.
If your rng is kinda bad, and the reds are poppin’, and you have 7/10 on red and only 5 on primary and secondary, it’s time to lower the criterion and put the 45% on secondary, 55% on primary.
Combine that with a 3-stone rule: 3 stone max per character, cut all 3 and pick the best one.
Out of 6 characters, I got 1 7/7 stone, 4 8/7 stones and one 9/6 stone, so I guess it works for me.
Although I’ve been told I was just lucky, so not sure 
50% for a 7/7 no. iirc those are like 6%. just follow one of the calculators you weirdos

I cut a stone of 950 gold, it is expensive but it does not reach 7/7
Why would you pay 950 for a stone??

you can use the calculator
it is calculating probability which will give you your stone much quicker than you just winging it
but the calculator is not fun

Sometimes you gotta just use your intuition, especially when them reds be poppin’ at 25%
probability is different from a chance to succeed and humans can’t internalize probability
but in the end it’s entirely luck
a 9/7 rock is flipping a coin 30 times and calling every heads or tails correctly

But close enough
9/7/0 is 16 nodes from 30
you start off from 75% so your average is 17 nodes succeding
10/10 is 20 nodes those are really rare to occur they aren’t only about you guessing correctly

But hey, I’m pretty sure chances are better than 9.31 e10^-10 which is fliiping a coing 30 times and calling them all xD
well a 9/7/1 allows you to guess incorrectly 5 times

if you pay attention while you are fasceting you will notice that your average stone is 16 nodes succeeding
the hard part is guessing where they succeed
thats why the chance of getting a9/7/1 is 0.03%
probability is just something we can’t really comprehend
our brains are not equipped for it

There is no such thing as 50% chance lol. why would they do that. but there is tools to help you, you can try this one
Yup. And 50% = 5% in Lost Ark, so you probably don’t want my method.
I’ve cut 13 stones that were 500g each and my best two were 6/7.
i know the pain mate. used 100k, to cut a 8/6 stone on my main.
and when Artist came, i cut a 7/7 stone 1st try.
