/dance does not work if typing into the chat window. You have to open the emote window and manually activate it.
You get the following error when trying to type it: “You do not have this emote yet”
Just got this issue also, trying to do the daily on Peyto. You cannot type /dance, but you can select it from the Y menu.
I suppose that the default /dance emote was changed to Wave dance OR Star Dance (I can’t cofirm because I don’t have any of these emotes).
