Here is a solution for not needing to heavily moderate threads in the future.

Remove the people that incite others and sow disdain on the forums. The ones that try to force their point of view on others, reply every 2 minutes and do their best to rile up the community.

I personally believe that in terms of censorship, you’ve allowed WAY MORE than other places would have had. But the community is getting damaged by repeat offenders that only get a 1 day suspension.

That is not ok. Keep it fair. Warn them, and if they still keep on doing it please take proper action. For the best of yourselves and the entire Lost Ark community.

We know it’s hard for you too. And some of us really appreciate the work you’ve done. But please, help us have a better environment.

For real when we can’t have a class discussion without resulting in name calling I think there’s a huge issue

Forums are for discussion. I agree with OP that problem posters should be addressed, rather than treating certain topics as the issue. I respectfully ask the CMs/moderators to consider this as it changes what we are even allowed to discuss because of a few bad actors.

Doesn’t matter if we’re civil or not. They’ll just delete threads if they feel like it. Even if it has a moderator response.

Artist as a topic is just done. Nobody can talk about it anymore. Simple as that, and no I don’t care to read your opinion on it, so this thread can get deleted too. I have never seen moderation handled this way, and I will never understand it. It is what it is. No matter how much you plead with people to stop, or ignore, they won’t do it.

I said this in another thread, but I can 100% understand why the CMs would nuke a thread that has dissolved into negativity. It’s way easier to nuke than to reprimand every single person being rude, especially when you are only 1 CM against an army of trolls :woozy_face:

I think it matters. Remember that these forums are public, you can browse without even having an account.

Remember - this makes us ALL looks look bad.

If people would stop provoking others we would have better discussions overall.

@Maselbart maybe you could close the thread or make a new one with a comment from you stating the reason why every thread is being closed ? So people can read that… I understand why these threads are getting shut down ASAP but others clearly don’t….

Because those usually result in just more negativity tbh, the one that was recently deleted basically called all CMs cucks. Fuck that thread, I’d delete it too if I had the power lol

The thread about artist, that was positive, was just completely deleted. along with that… other … thread… I expect any threads regarding skins to go the same way. If anything is related in any way, it is removed on these forums.

I was in the middle of typing how wholesome the thread was and before I could finish it was gone which quite literally just made me laugh in disappointment.

There was a new positive thread up, that a cm even replied in several times, the other thread is what got that thread deleted too.

It seems that threads that take a lot of work to maintain are being seen as just not worth keeping. I mean I get it, but at the same time I wonder if this policy won’t have negative affects.

When people aren’t allowed to go to their own thread to have a discussion they go to the next best thing, the artist thread to you know, discuss artist. Then get dogpiled. So seems that both sides can’t be civil enough for us to have certain topics.

Too many immature posters I guess in AGS eyes. Well whatever.

Totally this. They were just de-railing the topic and using it to spread bullshit. I don’t like to come to the forum to read all the negativity people have on their lives posted here with anger against everything

If trolls start targeting a post, it seems clear that they can get that topic, and anything related to that topic deleted, and pretty much banned from being discussed on these forums.
