Deleted character restoration vs. reusing name?

Hi!

I have a question regarding your policy on reusing name and deleted character restoration.

When the game launched in February I created a character on my current server (Elzowin) as my friends were telling me to “save a spot” on their server. (That’s when servers were being locked with high pop). I did that, but didn’t feel like trying the game then.

Fast forward four months later to June, I wanted to give Lost Ark a try. I started to look into class and playstyle and deleted my character to create one with a different class. I then noticed that I’m unable to reuse my name for 60 days. Since then I’ve been playing on what will eventually become an alt, waiting for my regular username to be available again. This makes the gameplay very unpleasant as I always need to avoid claiming rewards that I want to keep for my main. I don’t think I have it in me to wait another six week.

I know I can ask for the character to be restored, but I would then be stuck with that class I choose back in February. Is there anyway I can get the name released so I can restart with a new class? Or alternatively, can the character be restored then wiped back to the character customization screen?

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

There are no exceptions regarding the name policy, you’ll need to wait for the 60 days to be over in order to be able to use it on a new character. Regarding the character customization, once you choose a class you can not change it, you can customize the character’s appearance but not the class.

If you still like to restore the character, please let me know.
