Other than greediness, I donât understand the justification of using 2 leveling events on a class that is not even the class you want to main (knowing full well that the class you want to main is coming out next).
If youâre blaming the Feiton Pass expiry date visual bug, then I would argue the following; How would you know Destroyer is coming out in May but not know about Feiton Pass expiring end of June? I would assume youâre following the updates & news from LA official sources.
Even if I were to give you a benefit of a doubt and blaming the expiry date bug of the Feiton Pass, whatâs the reason to use up the Mission Express event knowing full well Destroyer is coming out the month after?
You just assume they will give out another power pass and mission express with every class release when there werenât any actual set precedence other than âI heard KR got thisâ.
The same day I got the feiton pass, I created a warrior, did the âtest classâ to auto level the toon to 10, when it asked to select the subclass, closed the the game and applied the feiton pass to that level 10 generic warrior so it will become a destroyer with feiton and express event (and full rest bonus on everything)
And anyways if we get other passes Ill just create more gunlancers to boost my main, my account has 6 gunlancers(main 1405, 5 alts 1370) and the generic warrior becoming destroyer, pass that point in time I will fill the account with 17 gunlancers 1 for each pass they give me and the destroyer
Because the game is literally designed to make you play more characters. So people with more free time that had an alt at a lower point might have just used it on that and the power pass on glaivier. At no point did they express or say âHey, Destroyer might not have a powerpass. So use what weâre giving you wisely.â They should do this going forward. Give the pass with Destroyer and say âHey, weâre not giving other passes for the next class or 2. So hang on to it just in case.â They just need to communicate how often the passes will come so people can plan more accordingly. Also⊠not everyone reads the patch notes. So those that logged into the game and saw the âExpires in 7 daysâ BUG is getting shafted for no fault of their own. Why is there such a fight on this here? I donât understand why people are so against powerpasses? Does it affect you directly if you get one? Do we continue to hinder EVERYONE elses experience because of fear of bots? I just need someone to tell me WHY a powerpass and better communication moving forward about how many weâll get or how often does any harmâŠ
No, my reply was more towards trying to gauge what was going through the minds of people who used both leveling events on other classes when they KNOW full well the main class they wanted was coming in the next month.
I agree that the communication is lackluster and if they wanted to accelerate our region to catch-up with KR, then more power passes definitely wonât hurt.
Thank you! I just donât see why thereâs soooo much âQuit begging for free stuffâ going around. Thereâs people that make genuine mistakes or were seriously unaware of how the powerpass worked. PEOPLE even used the express pass on their mains because AGS didnât fucking explain what it was. Iâm on the side of AGS owning their shit and doing a more âMoving forwardâ approach for future class releases. Even make it so if they do give us a pass, we could use it on the next class if they decide to not give that one a powerpass.
I did applied the feiton pass and will do the express event (once t2) to a generic level 10 warrior, dont see the problem there, so I can be auto t2 and hone to 1100 on the exact same moment also have full rest bonuses and gonna save the chaos aura potions from the Login event for it so just in case the punikaâs chaos decides not to give me the full 1302 set in the first 2 runs, also have enough stuff to hone him to 1370 and argos ready the time it takes me to do all the above mentioned.
Hey, just so youâre aware. This is going to cause you to waste the entire express pass. Itâs more designed for tier 1 and tier 2. Using it on the END of your tier 2 is completely wasting what itâs supposed to do. Just so you know.
Not a waste, hone buff from 960 to 1100 has no price, then 1 hour run from punika and Im gonna be running any chaos it takes to get the 1302 set and start honing to 1370, testing destroyer on oreha hard and argos the exact same day it releases
Let us buy the pass or give us one for the lack of communication, the pass was bugged and had to be fixed, no one wants to clutter their bags. It expired before the release of destroyer before the fix.
If you knew you knew you wanted to make a destroyer, why not save the express event since it lasts past the launch of the class. You couldâve also saved the powerpass. Theyâre not obligated to give us a powerpass with every new character launch.
If they gave out one for one class and didnât communicate there wouldnât be another for the next then yes they are obligated to give another oneâŠJust because your class is less popular you get less things for it? Glaivier already got released first, if Destroyer was released first and Glaivier second people would be furiousâŠBut because Destroyer ainât that popular they donât care.
Truth, however in regards to the power pass I think people do have a valid argument considering the expiration date was bugged off the rip and told people it expired in a week.
It looks like people didnât read the April / May Roadmap. It was communicated there that we would get a powerpass in April and nothing in May.
If u used both your express event AND your feiton pass expecting you would get more, even when we had the roadmap showing we wouldnât, then that is on you.
It was also communicated that the express event was for 1100 or lower characters, look how many people screwed that up, and that time it wasnt even AGSâs fault. The communication is terrible with AGS and they admitted it, it took 2 weeks to answer if there was anything coming for Destroyer, and the powerpass was bugged.
the express pass was poorly explained. And im afraid AGS had no idea what the fuck it even was. If anything they should have marketed it so hard because it was insane for any new player to start the game and catch up fast.
People just instantly claiming on t3 characters even tho it was said it wasnât supposed to be for t3 characters, i canât really feel to bad for.
If the CMs were confused about no powerpass for destroyer, then that is on the CMs. Cuz it was clearly communicated in the April / May roadmap. Communication has been terrible overall, but from the April / May roadmap, we really canât complain. That shit has been nicely communicated. And with the powerpass bug, they were also fast to inform us that they would have the timer fixed before next patch, so we shouldnât worry about the wrong timer if u had consumed the powerpass. Again, this was a bug from SG and AGS was actually good at communicating the bug and ensuring that it would be fixed.
Yet arenât you also assuming that Feiton Powerpass and the express mission will actually be retroactive and work on new classes? Even though it was never actually stated that it would and you are simply basing it off expiration date? So you blame others for assuming while also assuming. This is why clarity is important.
