The games combat is fun but man the rest it’s so bad.
The side quest are just fodder to press G
The mobs are worthless in this game there is no interest in fighting them for 2 XP

I would legit just pay for a normal experience (like Destiny) without all the waiting period techniques this game uses to stall you as much as possible. Just give expansions like Destiny or Guildwars.

This is personal but the mechanic heavy boss fights are such a turn off and it cause people to rage at you if you make a mistake so I hope you can adjust the level of difficulty for people who decide to do those Abysmal Dungeons solol. I have friends who play casual that will just never understand that portion of the game.
Not being able to use mounts on Isle is crazy too why is this game fighting against the player playing fast if they want, it’s like the game is doing everything it can to make EVERYTHING slow. the back and forth with so much quest is like blaaah.
Uh what? Have you played literally any other MMO? This game feels incredibly fast in comparison. And not just combat. Side quests are fast, the main quests keeps you moving forward. No backtracking. Can solo dungeons so no queue. I never feel idle and I never feel like it’s a slog.
What exactly needs to be faster? Cause you have me baffled.
I mean I guess you just don’t enjoy the post 50 content. I am thoroughly enjoying post 50. So much to do and keep track of, not to mention alts. Also grinding gear and power is the point of all mmorpgs
Look dude. I played WoW, SWTOR and many other MMORPG games. This stuff here is extremally fast in comparison. I can’t complain about this aspect of the game at all, since I was tortured by other MMORPG games for years. The things you said about the game are true to some extend, but it is also our fault that we click G, instead of reading the story. They gave us a choice tho, click G if you want to skip it or read all the dialogs. In most MMORPG games you just don’t have that choice.
I feel good playing this game. I get choices that I never had in other MMORPG games. Pathing to quests is also great, I don’t have to backtrack too much and even side quests are usually in the same place that the main quest is. It actually lets me do all the quests in the game.
Also they sped up getting into a ship by giving us a teleport when you click M. You are on open sea right away. Raids and all the end game content is also fast. You get into action right away. In WoW I sometimes had to wait 30-50 minutes to get some people to do a dungeon or a raid.
Right now it is much better than other games of this type.
How else would devs earn money on this f2p game? They deliberately made gearing slow so people would spend money to buy gold and buy items from auction house.
Game good. You just have to actually do the content in order to get to the challenging side of things. Is it a grind? Yes. Could you have just looked into the thousands of videos explaining how this game works? Yes. I think its great that the grind is long and hard. The story continues at each gear level. 302- 460 - 600 - 920 - 1350 and the story continues to get immersive. Ive hit 1k ilevel without spending any irl money besides the bronze founder pack to get a head start. Though My mental stability and sanity has been questionable this past week. just keep on that grind and you’ll be rewarded with storytelling i promise
