Hi, I was in the process of completing the Toxiclaw Cavern quests and upon defeating the last boss my game froze and crashed, yada yada yada long story short after finally being able to reboot I was able to hop back into game and of course was kicked out of the dungeon. I entered and was able to successfully complete the entire thing without crashing, but I did not receive my reward - the chest piece. Both times were on Hard, which was pretty easy but I do not want to waste time and have to go through it again - not even knowing if I will in fact receive the reward or not. I can’t be the only one experiencing this. Lost Ark staff - how can we remedy this? I would like my epic chest piece that I earned.
I’m really sorry about the issue you had with the Toxiclaw Cavern dungeon, if the disconnection happened due to a server verified error your entry or reward should be handed back in no more than 48 hours, in case that the disconnection happened due to a ISP outage, a hardware or anything non server related then sadly we won’t have the possibility to provide you the entry back.

Thank you for your response. As stated, after the disconnection and subsequent kick out of the dungeon, I restarted the dungeon and successfully completed it but did not receive the epic chest piece that shows as the reward for completing the dungeon. Unrelated to the disconnection, I completed it and did not receive the reward.

I think the crash in the dungeon was coincidental. Where dungeons say ‘Expected Rewards’ on the entry menu, it’s probably a translation error. Those rewards aren’t ‘guaranteed’ but only ‘potential’.
It’s confusing but there’s not a guarantee you’ll get all the items shown. This is how it works in all later game dungeons, which typically will show the best potential loot item of a type rather than listing all of them. Card selection packs range from Legendary down to Common quality, but the dungeon menus show the Legendary version as the ‘Expected Reward’ despite almost nobody ever getting that high of a quality.
While this does cause a less enjoyable experience, at least the loot from hard mode story dungeons aren’t unique in any way. You’ll find equivalent loot in the next zone or two. Often you can even buy the same stuff from the next zone’s NPC merchant. The stat impact is very minor with low level gear.
