Unpopular opinion here. Complaints are good, Whining is good, it means people still care. When the forums go quiet though… Honestly that’s more concerning it means people no longer care, they no longer have the passion to even vocalize what they’d like to see.
For every person that comes to the forums to complain whether it be quitting, class cadences, or what ever other reason they may have to come to the forums there’s a silent majority that wont say anything at all they’ll just uninstall and move on. To some that may be a good thing to them the “whiners” are gone. What you get when that happens is exactly what we’re witnessing. Declining populations, slower forums…Silence.
AGS and by extension SG are doing nothing as far as the general population is concerned to “bring back player” as they claim. From our view point they aren’t doing much to help and get players to the coveted legion commanders. They’re fun, even an inexperienced raider will have an absolute blast. But we’re not really assisting these more casual players to get there if they haven’t been playing since day 1 every day they’re so far behind the curve and general populace that why bother? Everyone that does come back for the 1370 Hyper express event is looking at ~43 days on average of grinding to even try Valtan NM. So people just don’t bother and they remain silent and the game remains uninstalled.

Sadly the ones who were complaining and advocating for change gave up. AGS does not give a shit about its player base and creates narratives to hide behind. It will get less and less populated in here as the months go by since nothing is being changed thanks to their “Business intellect” .

Depends what it is. Some complaints are valid. Aome are just pure laziness.
Most players who actually play the game a lot dont even visit the forum.
My guild has 65 people and only maybe 4 to 5 bother reading

Regardless of the complaint the user had enough passion and desire to come to the forums and take the time and effort to write a post. Whether practical or not all criticism is valid. Just because it may not be practical to implement doesn’t make it invalid.
The point to take away is we all recognize there’s issues no game is perfect nor will any game ever be perfect. But if people no longer feel they are able to express their wants, then they’ll just leave and go somewhere else.

People usually use forums to complain.

The forums will be alive again once we hear news about an update to future patches, class releases, cash grabs, rmts, and bot situations. These topics drive the community to respond and give feedback. All we have to do is wait for the news to come. Once it does we will have sticks and stones around a fire pit or bonfire. Light it up with some fuel and let the smoke rise. Let it burn enough and we have ourselves a fire. Then we watch the flames dance in the night and imagine in our heads what the forums will be like. I can already see it in front of my eyes as I stare looking into the flames. What a nostalgic night to behold.
You must be reading a different forum, because on this one it was mostly just illogical crying.
A lot of people that have posted here have shown they don’t know how to give critical feedback in a rational manner. So of course they get made fun of.
The forum is now less cluttered with nonsense.
Never the right answer to anything. But I guess a childish sense of justice is better then a healthy game.
40/50% of people just get tired of not being heard
the other 40/50% that have exited either quit the forums or quit the game
however quiet forums aren’t always a good thing it shows a slow loss of interest be that in feedback to improve the game or interest in the game itself

At this point all the complaints were vented. You either accept what is the game state or stop playing 
everything that was needed to be said was said, feedback was given and AGS/SG gave their response, there is no meaning on caring if they dont care. so here we go again; New world style, all hope lost and every new content or update only generates a feeling of “meh, whatever” from everyone but the most invested players.
when people hated on the game it was still salvageable, now its turning into indifference and there is no coming back from that state, this is when the game starts to die.

This is kinda what happens when they do not listen to communities and commit to faulty business intelligence decisions.
