Disconnect (EAC Offline and Server type) event viewer logs same timestamp as disconnect

So I am still having disconnect issues, both eac and server type, only now I guess EAC type only puts you back to server login instead of completely closing the game. The server type still takes me to desktop.

I have had 2 server type disconnects (the long alphanumeric error code message) and one EAC disconnect. On the last disconnect, I noticed this series of logs in event viewer relating to EAC:

1. (Source: Filter Manager) 10:57:04 am
File System Filter ‘EasyAntiCheatSys’ (Version 6.1, ‎2022‎-‎08‎-‎22T03:57:47.000000000Z) unloaded successfully.

2. (Source: Service Control Manager) 10:57:10 am
A service was installed in the system.

Service Name: EasyAntiCheatSys
Service File Name: C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat.sys
Service Type: kernel mode driver
Service Start Type: demand start
Service Account:

3. (Source: Filter Manager) 10:57:12 am
File System Filter ‘EasyAntiCheatSys’ (6.1, ‎2022‎-‎08‎-‎22T03:57:47.000000000Z) has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager.

The above happened with a timestamp exactly when I was playing in a Cube run. I am no programmer, but I don’t think a service that the game requires to run should be unloading and reinstalling itself. Speaking of which…

Now, when I go to services.msc immediately after the game closes to desktop, EasyAntiCheat.sys is NOT in the services list. When I go to EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe in Binaries folder, run as Admin, and select current game, the option is NOT to repair but to INSTALL eac. The event viewer logs contradict this as they indicate that the service had just been installed and started!

When I go to EAC’s website, their EasyAntiCheat.exe file available to download to UPDATE EAC is different from the one in C:\Program Files(x86)\EasyAntiCheat folder. When I replace that file with the one from EAC’s website and then run eac setup in the game binary folder, it replaces the file with the smaller and older file.

Just wanted to pass this information along. This only started happening to me after the Vykas update. I feel like there is a problem with the version of EAC we are using that maybe has a bug with how filter manager interacts with it or something?

I have done all of the above, both on AGS support page and EAC’s support page. I was only passing along the information I found because I thought it was unusual that a service required by Lost Ark (EAC) would unload itself while the game was running, and that is happening at the same time that I am getting an EAC or
[W0x9-0PELPWP1P2NT] type disconnect.

I’m also having the same problem, any possible solution?

I have the same problem and opened a thread and have contacted customer support on it. Exact same problem it seems.

The one I download from EAC website is game “12”

When the one in lost ark is 580. Not sure if that matters but I can login just long enough to collect my daily rewards and then I am

kicked. I’ve tried all the regular fixes on EAC’s website.
