Disconnected from argos right before loot claim

Just did Argos part 1 and part 2, and the party i had joined agreed to end after part 2.
We killed both bosses, we’re all hyped up in the chat, and i’m stoked to get my bonus loot!
Waiting for the “vote to end” prompt to come up and alas;
my game gives me the disconnected from server message, and my game closes.
I promptly reboot the game, and my nightmare became true. I was in Nia Village.
Heart in stomach, i opened my inventory; no loot.
Frustration was rising; I click the Abyssal Raid stone to see if i could try again…
Weekly entry count exceeded. No loot claimed, or even a chance to claim bonus loot.
Why is there not a system in place to alleviate something like this from happening.
As a huge game studio, this is a no-brainer.
Talked to customer support, and he basically said i’m screwed until next weekly reset!

i have video proof of me getting the disconnect message seconds after part 2 argos died.
I just want my entry ticket back to possibly get a chance at the loot. at the very least right?
I get it, shit happens; and i’m not expecting to just get the “claimed bonus loot” to be mailed to me; nah; that makes too much sense. like a COD mail to “claim bonus loot” since i didn’t deny nor accept it. Took me literally 5 minutes to think of that system. Please; get your shit together.
I’m frustrated, yes, sorry for being rude. but getting no loot and having no chance to re-enter because the game servers crapped themselves, really screws my pooch…
And to be clear; it wasn’t my internet, it wasn’t my computer, the game gave me a message saying i lost connection with server, but my internet was fine. so this argos “blood” is on your hands mister server runners… and i will gladly take it off your hands…

EDIT: the customer support person for amazon also said other players have made similar reports. I know the timing of my disconnect was aligned with the sun and the moon (pun intended); but I know i’m not the only one that’s been screwed over by random server disconnections. I also clipped it with shadowplay for proof. not that having it will help anything but my sanity…

Yea I’ve been getting this same issue in abyssal dungeons and guardian raids too, the only way I have managed to overcome this is to play solo (only for guardian obvs) or with a premade so that they can stay in the instance. this way you will be able to reconnect to it and collect your loot.

I know this is a annoying workaround but its the only way I have managed to play the game. I too know that gut wrenching feeling of reconnecting and seeing Nia village load screen. It is so frustrating, I’m more stressed about disconnecting than actual hard game mechanics.

even if all of us were in discord, it wouldn’t have saved me 100%.
the timing was god-like for my demise.
the second the raid leader hit “raid stopped” is when my game disconnected.
everyone was so hyped up to get loot and focused on the middle of their screen.
nobody had time to see i disconnected. and in a group of 7 people, only 4 need to hit yes.
and 4 people hit yes, instantly. and 4 people instantly hit yes for loot too. not even seconds after i got disconnected, the raid was over and loot was claimed, but i wasn’t there to get anything.

Just disconnected as our group killed argos no loot for me. I logged back into the end and it said I must obtain phase rewards to claim the box. But I cant click end dungeon to claim phase rewards left with nothing but leave dungeon and it locked me out no rewards for the week wtF?

This exact thing just happened to me as well. Bumping for exposure.

This seems to be rampant on NA East currently. Happening to tons of us who have never DC’d before. Lots of folks in my discord and in Zeal’s chat etc… it seems widespread so hopefully it gets attention quickly.
