After having maybe 2-3 DCs in a year of playing Lost Ark, yesterday on NAW-Mari I DCed about 4-5 times during period of 10 minutes, and Amazon was aware of it, they asked players to post their info about the DCs yesterday
Looks like all regions started being affected, and the reason Smilegate couldn’t fix it for months is because this is Amazon servers that are acting up, not the game. How do I know? New world uses the same exact Amazon’s servers and NW players have had DC issues for months and months just like we have, but they are also getting a lot of penalties for DCing and it’s destroying the experience when you receive a penalty for servers not working properly, and nothing is being done over there for issues to be fixed either.
